The red resources of our country formed in a special historical period.Red resources contain rich connotations of Ideological and political education and are effective resources in education and teaching.By studying the related expositions,important documents and a series of speeches by state leaders,the paper defines the concept of red resources from the perspectives of subject,time and resources.Red resources are the revolutionary spirit,the fine tradition of revolutionary morality and the material carrier of the revolutionary spirit,which can be exploited and utilized by the Communist Party of China leading the people in the process of revolution,construction and reform.From the point of view of the emergence and development of red resources,it has authenticity,revolutionary,political,lofty,mass and other characteristics.As a resource of Ideological and political education,red resources embody lofty ideals and beliefs,deep patriotic feelings,correct world outlook,outlook on life and values,spirit of hard struggle and noble moral sentiment,which are of great value to enrich the content of Ideological and political education.In order to study the actual effect and application of red resources in the ideological and political education of college students,an empirical study was carried out.The author visited 10 different types of universities in Beijing,distributed 535 questionnaires and interviewed 42 College students.Research and development found that universities have both effectiveness and problems in the use of red resources.The existing problems include students' unclear understanding of red resources,lack of initiative to learn red resources,the lasting impact of red resources on college students' education,and insufficient attention and attention to red resources in Colleges and universities.On this basis,the reasons are analyzed from four aspects:the content of education,the mode of application,the strength of teachers and the coordination mechanism.First,the educational content of red resources is outdated and backward.Second,the form of using red resources in colleges and universities is single.Third,the red cultural literacy of educators needs to be improved.Fourth,the relevant cooperative mechanism of using red resources is not perfect.These factors affect the exertion of the ideological and political education effect of red resources.In view of the above problems and analysis of the causes,specific improvement measures are put forward.Firstly,we should strengthen the research on red resources content teaching.Deeply excavate the educational value of red resources,and integrate them into the Ideological and Political Curriculum and the ideological and political construction of the curriculum.Secondly,innovate the ways and means of using red resources.Optimize practical teaching,update evaluation methods,and strengthen publicity and education with the help of financial media platform.Thirdly,improve the teaching staff.Bringing together professionals who study red resources,forming research teams,improving incentive mechanisms,and promoting research and development and teaching of red resources.Fourthly,we should improve the coordination mechanism of red resources utilization.Improve the management system,create a red resources education atmosphere,and strengthen cooperation and sharing with the red resources education base.
