A Research On Effectiveness Of Ideological And Political Education Work Of Undergraduate College Counselors Based On Student Satisfaction

College counselors are the front-line workers of ideological and political education and student affairs in colleges and universities who gradually develop into a complex role of ideological and political education,management and service.Counselors help college students to solve practical problems in thought,study and life who accompany the entire stage of college students' life,and have a very important impact on the growth of college students.However,because of the particularity and complexity of counselors' work bring them difficulty in practical work.The effectiveness of ideological and political education of counselors has not reached the ideal state.Therefore,how to improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education of counselors to meet the needs of the country,society and students is the current focus of counselors.From the perspective of student satisfaction,this study took the undergraduate students of Jiangxi Province as the research object on the basis of theoretical research.Through interviews and questionnaires,SPSS18.0 statistical software was adopted to make an empirical analysis on the present situation of the ideological and political education of counselors,and some suggestions for improvement were put forward.Research shows that the degree of satisfaction of college students on the effectiveness of ideological and political education of counselors is relatively higher indicating that the ideological and political education work of counselors can basically meet the needs of students.Through the data obtained by non-parametric test the following can be obtained:There were significant differences in the degree of satisfaction of college students with different gender,grade,school type and major type to the effectiveness of ideological and political education of counselors.Whether college students serve as student cadres and what the political status is had no significant difference in the degree of satisfaction with the effectiveness of ideological and political education of counselors.Students' satisfaction with the effectiveness of ideological and political education of counselors also varied according to the counselors' gender,age,marital status,personal position,personnel establishment,number of changes,working years,professional titles,and the number of students brought with them.The educational background of counselors had no significant difference on the effectiveness of ideological and political education of counselors.From the investigation and analysis of the factors influencing the effectiveness of the ideological and political education work of counselors,we can see that the effectiveness of the ideological and political education work of counselors is affected by social factors,university factors,counselor factors and student factors.In the questionnaire,the influence of counselor and student on the effectiveness of ideological and political education work of counselors with mean value 4.07 is significantly greater than that of social and school factor.College students think that the work attitude of counselors has the greatest impact on the work effectiveness of counselors,and the salary of counselors has the least impact on job effectiveness.The author concludes that the beneficial experience of the effectiveness of counselors' ideological and political education from the national level,the school level and the counselor level.At the same time,in the face of the problems and challenges of ideological and political education,colleges and universities need to pay attention to the match between the counselors and the students,improve the career development space for the counselors,improve the incentive and training system of the counselors,and rationally arrange the number of students in the class;counselors improve their overall quality,rationally allocate work content,and innovate working methods using the internet.On the other hand,college students should develop self-education and create a good relationship with counselors.Only by making concerted efforts can we improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education work in colleges and universities.
