The famous mathematician Polya once said,"Mastering mathematics means being good at solving problems".Therefore,in a sense,mathematics is problem-solving centered teaching.The so-called "a good beginning is half the success".As the first step of solving problems,the importance of examining problems is self-evident.Based on this,this paper makes a comparative study on the examination steps and habits of students with three academic achievement levels,hoping to provide some reference for improving students' examination ability.From September 2019 to June 2020,the researchers completed a comparative study of mathematics examination of students with different academic performance levels.The main contents of this study are as follows:(1)Through in-depth classroom lectures and interviews with front-line teachers,using grounded theory,to determine the dimensions of comparison between excellent students,middle-class students and students with learning difficulties in mathematics examination;(2)A comparison of the three academic achievement levels of students is made from the determined dimensions;(3)According to the differences among the students with three levels of academic achievement,this paper puts forward some suggestions on how to cultivate the students' ability of mathematics examination.The research ideas are as follows:(1)Consulting and combing a large number of relevant documents of mathematics examination,the existing research is generally divided into five aspects: examination concept,examination steps,examination habits,examination methods and factors affecting examination;(2)Researchers enter the school,through a large number of front-line teachers open-ended interviews,and the interview content into a document form,under the guidance of grounded theory,using Nvivo11 qualitative analysis software landing,three levels of coding,combing the main concerns of front-line teachers in the examination teaching,in order to summarize the article's dimension Division of mathematical examination,starting with the actual situation of students According to the needs of the Research Institute,the examination paper of mathematics examination for junior high school students was compiled;(3)Send the test paper of junior high school students' mathematics examination to students,let them finish it in class,and choose the best sample among the students with three levels of academic achievement to make oral report one by one.In the oral report process,mainly report the questions in the test paper of junior high school students' mathematics examination,let students say how they analyze step by step during the examination The researchers recorded the recordings with the consent of the students;(4)The researchers transformed and sorted out the recording materials,imported the Nvivo11 qualitative analysis software in the form of text,coded and analyzed it,so as to compare the differences of students with different academic performance levels in mathematics examination.According to the results of the comparison,some suggestions were put forward to improve students' mathematics examination ability.The conclusions are as follows:(1)Mathematics examination includes two aspects:the steps of mathematics examination(Rough reading and understanding of the questions,understanding and characterizing the questions,reading back and summarizing the questions)and the habits of mathematics examination(correct examination attitude,good use of examination methods and attention to examination reflection);(2)In the aspect of "extensive reading and understanding of the topic",there is not much difference among the students of the three academic achievement levels.In the aspect of "understanding and characterizing the topic",there is obvious difference among the students of the three academic achievement levels.In the aspect of "reading back and summarizing the topic",the excellent students do better than the middle school students and the students with learning difficulties;(3)In the aspect of "correct examination attitude",the excellent students and the middle-class students have better examination attitude,while the students with learning difficulties are slightly inferior.In the aspect of "good use of examination method" and "pay attention to examination reflection",there are great differences among the students with three academic achievement levels.
