As one of the six core qualities of mathematics,mathematical operation has always been a hot issue in the field of mathematics education,and logarithm is a very important basic concept in high school mathematics curriculum.But it has always been a place where students are prone to mistakes.By using a classification evaluation method——SOLO classification evaluation theory,this study investigates the logarithmic operation level of high school students in order to be beneficial to logarithmic learning.By combing and analyzing the relevant research,one is to summarize the concept,significance and teaching application of SOLO classification evaluation theory;the other is to sort out the research status of mathematical operation and the division of mathematical operation level;the third is to summarize the existing logarithmic teaching related research and students' logarithmic learning status.After that,in the concept of logarithm,the nature of logarithm operation and the comprehensive application of logarithm operation,the test paper is used to investigate 160 senior high school students' understanding of logarithmic operation.According to the theory of SOLO classification and evaluation,the test results are counted.Through the analysis of the test results,the present situation of high school students'logarithmic operation level is that most students can reach the level of multivariate structure by using the concept of logarithm.Students focus on the level of multivariate structure and associated structure,while many students can only reach the level of pre-structure and single structure.The difficulties are as follows:(1)understanding the concept of logarithm is ambiguous;(2)mastering the operational properties of logarithm is not proficient and easy to appear memory confusion;(3)the definition of logarithm and the operational properties of logarithm are not flexible.Finally,some suggestions are put forward to improve the teaching of logarithm operation.Teaching aspects:(1)Improve the concept of logarithm teaching based on the principle of historical occurrence,introduce the history of mathematics into the concept of logarithm teaching,and deepen students' understanding of the concept of logarithm by tracing the generation and development of logarithm;(2)Perfecting the idea of transformation in the teaching,paying attention to the derivation process of the formula,clarifying the internal relationship between logarithmic formula and exponential formula,so as to help students master the properties of logarithmic operation;(3)Consolidate mathematical thinking and methods,use RMI principle to help students understand the function of simplified logarithm operation,and develop the ability to flexibly use logarithm-related knowledge.Learning aspects:(1)to develop good operation habits;(2)Pay attention to the reflection of operation and improve the ability of mathematical thinking;(3)Overcome the fear of difficulty in operation,think calmly and analyze carefully.
