"SOLO" is the structure of the Observed Learning Outcome,which means "observable learning outcomes structure".It is a qualitative evaluation method characterized by hierarchical description and is essentially a theory of cognitive development.The theory divides the students'cognitive level reflected by the external feedback of a task into five different levels:pre-structure level,single-point structure level,multi-point structure level,correlation structure level and abstract summary structure level.This cognitive classification structure is the process of students'cognitive development from simple to complex hierarchical structure.The knowledge points of redox reaction required by the first chemistry edition of senior high school correspond to the five levels of SOLO classification and evaluation theory,so the main content of this study is to diagnose the students'leaming situation after completing the new redox course through the test data of the test questions,and to adjust and improve the teaching strategies and methods of the review course rationally according to the students' learning situation.After reviewing the lessons,the students are tested and diagnosed.Through the comparative analysis of the data from the pre-test and post-test,the effective evaluation of the students' learning situation by applying SOLO classification evaluation theory in teaching evaluation is explored,with a view to changing the function of curriculum evaluation from focusing on selection and selection to stimulation,feedback and adjustment.This paper is divided into six parts:The first part:theory overview,introduced Piaget's cognitive development stage theory,SOLO classification evaluation theory,elaborated the advantages of SOLO classification evaluation theory.The second part:Summarizes the research status of SOLO classification theory at home and abroad,and puts forward the significance and value of applying SOLO classification evaluation theory to chemistry teaching evaluation.The third part:Applying SOLO classification and evaluation theory to chemistry teaching:analyzing learning conditions,analyzing teaching objectives,analyzing teaching difficulties,choosing teaching methods,arranging teaching order,establishing evaluation criteria and compiling SOLO test questions.The fourth part:According to the content of the whole chapter of redox reaction,the teaching design of four class hours and a review class are designed.The fifth part:After the new course of redox reaction,the SOLO test questions prepared by the students are tested.According to the test situation,the students' learning difficulties are analyzed,the review lessons are planned reasonably and the review lessons are taught.After the students fully absorb the knowledge of the review lesson,they use SOLO questions to conduct the post-test,and make a comparative analysis of the pre-test and post-test experimental data.The sixth part:Summarize and reflect on this research.And interviews were conducted with teachers and students in the experimental class to understand their feelings about the application of SOLO classification evaluation theory to teaching evaluation.
