Computational thinking is essential to meet the challenges of the future society.Many countries have included computational thinking into the national curriculum standards,and China has listed computational thinking as one of the core qualities of information technology in senior high schools.The cultivation of computational thinking in junior high schools is also the trend of The Times.However,programming education is an important way to cultivate students' computational thinking in the stage of basic education.At present,programming education at the stage of compulsory education in China has been reflected in the extension module of information technology course "algorithm and program design",but the development situation in different regions is uneven.Guided by the scientific theory,this paper conducted the course design and practical research work of App Inventor in junior high school.First of all,based on the analysis of the current research of computational thinking training tools and programming education research present situation,summarizes the main problem of our country to carry out the programming education,advanced education theory and the elementary and middle schools information technology curriculum standard as a guide,combining the actual environment of basic education schools and learners characteristics of App Inventor information technology curriculum in the early period of the fully analyzed.Second,the use of constructivism teaching theory,based on project learning theory,experiential learning theory,the innovation of App Inventor a junior high school courses,a total of 16 hours,including basic application,development,promote comprehensive practice three stages,each stage to establish the teaching goals,develop the teaching program and evaluation system is established,for junior high school stage of the program design course opened up a new path.Finally,by a basic education school in Shenyang junior high school teaching practice,using the calculated level of scale,measure and SPSS data analysis,preliminary evidence that the course of the cultivation of students' computing thinking has a promoting effect,students' ability in autonomous learning,cooperative learning,innovation and software program design and so on were increased,especially in the thinking and creativity,algorithm has obvious role in promoting cooperation skills.App Inventor can introduce junior middle school information technology classes and thoroughly implement the "Education Informatization 2.0 Action Plan" to provide a new direction for the popularization of programming education.The construction of this course provides strategies and experience for the existing information technology curriculum research,provides reference for the front-line teachers and educators in basic education schools,and provides a powerful reference for the further development of programming education practice and the in-depth study of the cultivation of computing thinking.
