| As an organic part of traditional Chinese culture,the 24 solar terms have important guiding significance in both astronomy and calendar or phenology and festivals.The ancient Chinese children’s songs and poems contain a large number of festivals related to the 24 solar terms,agricultural affairs,folk customs,food culture and other content,providing a new direction for Chinese educators in teaching and research.Youth palace is one of the main fields of the off campus education.In the language education activities,choosing suitable children’s songs and poems on 24 solar terms and teaching the knowledge of solar terms with rich variety of activities and teaching methods,enable students to switch focus from textbook knowledge to applications in real life.In the study of ancient poems of the 24 solar terms,students are expected to feel the natural changes of the four seasons,the emotions of poets and immerse themselves in the charm of Chinese traditional culture,so as to improve students’ Chinese learning ability and cultural accomplishment.This paper takes Huaibei Youth Palace Chinese education activities as an example to discuss the content,teaching methods and so on of the 24 solar terms integrated into off campus teaching activities.The main content of this paper is divided into three aspects: The first is to explore the policy basis and design scheme of integrating the 24 solar terms into the Chinese education extracurricular activities,by defining active object,target,content,using the method of reading,multimedia teaching,expansion,imagination and creation,acting,painting,singing,and other kinds of teaching methods,with rich auxiliary teaching activities including guessing riddles,enjoying food,handcraft and learning customs.A set of 24 solar terms activity plan is put forward for after-school education places.The second is to show the implementation process of integrating the 24 solar terms into the Chinese education extracurricular activities through two teaching cases:Du Mu’s "Tomb-sweeping Day" and "Tomb-sweeping Day","Children’s Song" Shu Jiu Ge "and Bai Juyi’s" Handan Winter Solstice Night Homesickness "and" Winter Solstice ".The third is the reflection on the implementation of integrating 24 solar terms into Chinese education extracurricular activities,which points out the existing problems in the process of implementation such as insufficient theoretical and policy basis,limitations of the research perspectives and the lack of depth in the study of the activities,and puts forward further research methods through learning from textbooks,teachers,colleagues.We will continue to improve theoretical knowledge and professional skills,actively broaden our research horizons,deeply explore the cultural heritage of the 24 solar terms,expand activity areas,and promote more activity solutions beneficial to the development of young people. |
