| At the beginning of the 21st century,decentralized management of basic school-based curriculum helped primary and secondary school develop their school-based curriculum.Some schools tried to carry out successful school-based curriculum management under various concepts,such as authentic learning concept,student-based education concept or holistic education concept.The ‘twenty-four solar terms’,school-based curriculum management practice,carried out by Y Primary School in Changsha is a successful exploration under the‘holistic education’ concept.Taking Y Primary School in Changsha as an example,this study mainly adopts case study method to conduct typical research on school-based curriculum management in primary schools to further improve it.At first,this study discuses the bases of ‘twenty-four solar terms’ school-based curriculum management under the concept of ‘holistic education’.The bases are as follows: the needs of school-based curriculum reform,education goals of integrated development,and harmony between man and nature in traditional culture of China.Secondly,the study analyzes the connotation of ‘twenty-four solar terms’ school-based curriculum management notion,including inheritance of harmony between man and nature,the education goal of ‘adopting nature and cultivating a full-developed person’ and the curriculum system of‘twenty-four solar terms’ school-based curriculum management.And then,the study deconstructs the procedure of ‘twenty-four solar terms’ school-based curriculum management,including the implementation of management organization and division of implementation,the teaching and research office formulating curriculum standards,the general affairs office allocating resources on campus,and the Young Pioneers Group Headquarters department managing resources in community.At last,the paper reflects on the school-based curriculum management of Y primary school,affirming the innovation of the school-based curriculum management notion with the theme of ‘twenty-four solar terms’ under the concept of ‘holistic education’.At the same time,the curriculum is implemented successfully under the effective management,and has achieved good results and influence.However,there are still some shortcomings in the human resource management,which is about arousing teachers’ enthusiasm.This study shows that the analysis on ‘twenty-four solar terms’ school-based curriculum management case is a significant exploration,which is instructive to the basic education management reform.At the same time,it is worth further investing the future development of‘twenty-four solar terms’ school-based curriculum management. |
