Continuous text and non-continuous text are the two main text styles involved in high school Chinese reading teaching.Non-continuous text exists in comparison with the concept of continuous text."Non-continuous" here,from a formal point of view,refers to the logical and linguistic "non-continuity" of the text content,that is,the text content is a form of reading text composed of multiple paragraphs related to themes but not logically rigorous.From the perspective of constituent elements,non-continuous text is mainly composed of pictures,tables,graphics,symbols,and a combination of multiple paragraphs of text materials,and there is no close logical sequence among its constituent elements.The "General High School Chinese Curriculum Standards" requires students to read more complex and non-continuous texts in the learning task group of "practical reading and communication",and the college entrance examination has also increased the examination of non-continuous texts.However,in the actual practice of Chinese teaching,non-continuous texts have not received the attention they deserve,and most of the time they appear in the classroom as an auxiliary means of teaching.Moreover,the number of studies on non-continuous texts is also relatively small.Therefore,this article discusses in detail the theoretical basis for the development of non-continuous text reading teaching,and clarifies the significance of the development of non-continuous text reading teaching.Taking YB No.2 Middle School as the research object,conduct questionnaire surveys and interviews with the teachers and students of YB No.2 Middle School.Combining the classroom observation of the non-continuous text reading teaching in YB No.2 Middle School,the current situation of non-continuous text reading teaching is investigated and analyzed.Non-continuous text reading teaching at YB No.2 Middle School enriches students' reading text styles,cultivates students' rational thinking,and enhances students' awareness of society.These all indicate that YB No.2 Middle School has achieved a certain degree in non-continuous text reading teaching.Effectiveness.However,in the teaching of non-continuous text reading,YB No.2 Middle School still has problems such as students' low interest in non-continuous text learning,single source of non-continuous text reading materials,and tendency to test-oriented non-continuous text reading training.These problems Existence affects the effectiveness of non-continuous text reading teaching.In order to implement non-continuous text reading teaching more effectively,YB No.2 Middle School should enhance the effectiveness of non-continuous text reading teaching by strengthening theoretical learning,improving teachers' quality and clarifying teaching goals,and exercising students' thinking.In the process of non-continuous text reading teaching,by enhancing the interest of non-continuous text learning,guiding students to master the methods of non-continuous text reading,etc.,improve students' ability to read non-continuous texts.At the same time,it is necessary to broaden the selection range of non-continuous texts,develop non-continuous texts through multiple channels,encourage teachers to actively use non-continuous texts,and strengthen the development of non-continuous text teaching resources.
