In 2017,the Ministry of Education promulgated the "General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)",which focuses on mathematics education Curriculum reform puts forward six core literacy.Thus,the core literacy of mathematics has attracted extensive attention and attention from scholars in the education industry.Mathematical abstraction ranks first among the six core qualities,which is also an important foundation for students to form rational thinking,it reflects the essential characteristics of mathematics and plays an important role in mastering mathematics and applying mathematics better for students.Making an intensive research on the core literacy of mathematical abstraction by many scholars.However,from the overall situation,most scholars have conducted research on the mathematical abstract literacy of high school students,and only a few scholars have paid attention to the mathematical abstract literacy research of junior high school students;some researches have explored the training strategies of abstract mathematics ability,but there are few researches that combine training strategies with specific teaching examples;quadratic functions are the key and difficult points of the junior middle school mathematics teaching content,involving algebraic formulas,functions,and images,it plays an important role in cultivating students' mathematical abstract ability.However,many students still can not understand the concept and nature of quadratic function after learning this chapter and can not use quadratic function to solve practical problems,which further affect their learning of quadratic inequality,equation roots and function in high school mathematics.In view of the above problems,the article investigates the level of students' mathematical abstraction ability in X Middle School in Yinchuan City.Through questionnaire surveys and teacher interviews,it is found that there is still much room for improvement in students' mathematical abstraction ability,and there is a significant correlation between students' abstract ability in mathematics and students' interests,attitudes,teaching methods,and life experiences.On the basis of investigation and analysis,and formulating strategies based on the situation reflected in the questionnaire,for example,combining the characteristics of students' physical and mental development,improving teaching methods,encouraging students to find more mathematical problems from real life;in order to better explain the training strategies,this article will select the three subsections of the second chapter of the quadratic function to study and analyze the teaching case.It can play a certain role in improving students' mathematics abstract ability in teaching practice.
