Mathematics is a subject based on thinking,since good thinking development is the key premise and guarantee to improve students' academic performance in Mathematics.In the process of mathematics learning,thinking level determines the students' thinking mode,learning method choice,knowledge structure systematization,problem analysis,problem solving and other abilities.Particularly,the development of critical thinking in Mathematics essentially determines the perspective of students to see the problem and the insight to grasp the essence of knowledge.On the other hand,the rational use of Mathematics learning strategies will also play a crucial role in the development of students' thinking,so as to lay a foundation for the improvement of Mathematics learning ability.According to the existing studies,there have been abundant studies on the relationship between Math learning strategies and Math academic achievement,and a few studies have confirmed that students' Math learning strategies have a certain promoting effect on their Math critical thinking and their Math critical thinking has a certain promoting effect on their Math academic achievement.However,the research on the relationship mechanism and influence path among these three elements is still blank.In order to better learn the relationship among the three elements in the field of Mathematics,and to further explore the Math critical thinking tendency's effect in the process of students' math learning,this research will be carried out under the background of Mathematics,so as to provide effective suggestions for Mathematics education and teaching.Based on the existing theory and research conclusion,this study makes assumptions on the structural equation model.Based on the descriptive statistics,differential analysis and correlation analysis,this study test the mediating effect of Mathematics critical thinking between Mathematical learning strategies and Mathematical academic performance.These results enrich the related research to some extent.The reliability test,exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis have been conducted in this study,and the results show that the reliability and validity of the scale were all acceptable.Through the analysis of 783 valid questionnaires of formal measurement,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Most of the senior high school students' Mathematical critical thinking tendency and Mathematical learning strategy using ability are in the middle level;(2)There are significant differences in the students' Mathematical critical thinking tendency and the application level of Mathematical learning strategies using ability in seven aspects:gender,grade,academic achievement of Mathematics,discipline,class type,father's education background and the passion for learning Mathematics.(3)On the whole,there is a significant positive correlation between the Mathematical critical thinking tendency,Mathematical learning strategy and Mathematical academic achievement of high school students,and there is a significant positive correlation between various dimensions of Mathematical critical thinking and various dimensions of Mathematical learning strategy.(4)The tendency of mathematical critical thinking has a significant mediating effect between the the Mathematical learning strategies and the academic achievement of Mathematics,among which systematic ability,self-confidence and thirst for knowledge play a key role.Based on the above conclusions,the following suggestions are put forward:(1)Set Mathematical problems reasonably to stimulate students' learning motivation;(2)Provide opportunities to find problems and encourage students to be good at questioning;(3)Organically integrate the historical material of Mathematics and experience the process of thinking development;(4)Permeate the Mathematical thought method,dig the essence of knowledge deeply;(5)Maintain a lifelong learning attitude and lay a foundation for students'development.
