As a kind of mathematics culture,the history of mathematics is the witness of the emergence and development of mathematics.In recent years,with the rise of foreign scholars on the study of the history of mathematics,China has begun to pay attention to the history of mathematics,and the educational value of the history of mathematics has been studied.Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2011 edition)in the proposed part of the teaching materials on the infiltration of mathematical culture,and mentioned the educational value of the history of mathematics.Under the guidance of curriculum standards,some front-line teachers combine their own teaching practice and find that the combination of mathematics history and mathematics teaching can promote the development of students’ emotions,attitudes and values,improve the ideological and moral quality of students and other functions.However,because of the limitations of teaching conditions and their own theoretical level,although front-line teachers understand why they should incorporate the history of mathematics into their teaching,but there are still doubts about “What kind of history of mathematics is suitable to be integrated into teaching,and how to integrate the history of mathematics into classroom teaching more effectively?” It is still difficult to operate in practical teaching.Therefore,it is of great significance to understand the current situation of the use of mathematics history by front-line teachers,grasp the students’ interest in learning,and explore the method of integrating the history of mathematics into the teaching of mathematics in primary schools.This thesis is divided into seven parts.The first part is the introduction,mainly introduces the background of research,the purpose of research and significance,the thinking of research and methods.The second part is a literature review from four aspects.The research on the educational value of the history of mathematics,the research on the history of mathematics and the teaching of mathematics,the research on the integration of the history of mathematics into the teaching of mathematics in primary schools and the research on the history of mathematics in the teaching materials of mathematics in primary schools,this thesis summarizes the related research at home and abroad,then reviews the literature of the research,and finds that there is a lack of research on the integration of the history of mathematics into the primary school mathematics teaching.The third part is the definition of the core concept,which mainly defines the core concepts of learning culture,mathematical history and so on.The fourth part is the analysis of the history of mathematics in primary school mathematics textbooks.This part mainly studies the mathematics in the compulsory education textbook published by the People’s Education Press,the history of mathematics in4 textbooks is analyzed and sorted out,and the characteristics of the arrangement of the history of mathematics are obtained,which provides the knowledge basis for the questionnaire design.The fifth part is the investigation and analysis of the integration of the history of mathematics into the primary school mathematics teaching.This part includes the design of the questionnaire,the arrangement and analysis of the data and so on.Based on the arrangement and analysis of the data,the present situation of the integration of the history of mathematics into the teaching of mathematics is obtained.In this part,all the mathematics teachers and some students of Dongge Road Primary School in Nanning City were chosen as the subjects of investigation.This investigation found that different teachers in the history of mathematics in the attitude,teaching application,knowledge of the history of mathematics and other aspects,there are some deficiencies,students of different grades have different degrees of influence on their attitude to the history of mathematics,their knowledge of the history of mathematics and their understanding of the value of the history of mathematics.The sixth part is the suggestion of integrating the history of mathematics into mathematics teaching in primary schools.Combining with the present teaching situation of the last part,this thesis puts forward some suggestions as follows.(1)To change the students’ learning concept and understand the value of the history of mathematics deeply.(2)To hold firmly the clue of the historical materials of the teaching materials and expand the knowledge of the history of mathematics.(3)To adjust the students’ learning pressure and create the conditions of autonomous learning.(4)To enrich the contents of the historical materials of mathematics and arouse the students’ learning interest.(5)To reduce teaching tasks and create learning opportunities.(6)To increase the compilation of materials and provide models of historical materials.(7)To dig up examples of famous teachers’ lessons and provide examples of resources.(8)To improve the relevant training mechanisms and increase the opportunities for teachers to further
