As time goes by,people have a higher and requirement for learning ability than before.The deep learning theory provides a possibility to help people achieve the goal which is to enhance and improve their learning ability.Therefore,the in-depth learning has become a hot issue in education research in recent years.Besides,when it comes to physics study,students always show their reluctance and feel hard to learn it well.However,what learning methods did high school students actually apply in the process of learning physics? This thesis is aiming at finding out which learning style did high school students use in physics learning,and what's their performance at learning physics by using the deep learning method.Based on students' performance,this paper tries to put forward corresponding strategies to promote students' efficiency of using deep learning methods in the process of physics learning in senior high school,and to further provide some insights for front-line teachers.The main content of the thesis is as follows:1.On the basis of sorting out the present research situation of deep learning theory,the thesis will firstly clarify the concept and characteristics of deep learning and shallow learning,and then understands the development trend of deep learning so as to confirmed the research method.2.The research method of this thesis mainly adopts the questionnaire survey method,and the questionnaire is adapted from the Biggs' s learning process questionnaire,NSSE-China deep learning subscale(NSSE-China)and physical deep learning evaluation scale(psl-designed by Zou Xueqing).All these three questionares have good reliability and are accepted by the researchers.The dimensions of the questionnaire includes shallow learning and deep learning.Besides,it also includes deep motivation,shallow motivation,deep strategy and shallow strategy,fear of failure,lack of purpose,narrowing down,memory,intrinsic interest,effort,connection,and understanding.3.The questionnaire was carried out in different level high schools in the context of respectively the town,the county town and the city.The followed results were obtained from the questionnaire :(1)Regarding to the overall sample,senior high school students are more inclined to apply deep learning method in terms of the learning style,and they showed a tendency;to shallow learning motivation;they tend to use deep learning strategy when they study physics.(2)From the gender differences perspective,both male and female students are inclined to apply deep learning method in learning style,and both male and female students are inclined to shallow learning motivation in the learning motivation aspect.With regard to the learning strategy,both gender showed a tendency to deep learning strategy.(3)From the analysis of different Grades,the students of Grade one in high school showed no tendency in learning style,while the students of Grade two in high school tend to study deeply.In learning motivation,the students of Grade one and Grade two in high school tend to study shallowly,yet the students of Grade one have a stronger tendency than Grade 2 students.In learning strategy,the students of Grade one and Grade two in senior high school all tend to the deep learning strategy,and the students of Grade two have a stronger tendency.(4)From the angle of school location,there is no tendentiousness between town and city while the students in county tend to study deeply.Besides,all the students in town,county and city tend to study shallowly.In terms of learning strategies,students in towns,counties and urban areas tend to adopt deep learning strategies,and students in towns and villages showed a deeper application usage of the deep learning strategies than those in counties and urban areas.4.By analyzing the above data,the result showed that the main factors that affect students' learning style are different learning motivations and learning strategies applied in their studying process.The thesis finds that there are certain problems exists in high school students when they learn physics,which include the lack of goals and the lack of intrinsic interest in students' learning motivation.Thus,this thesis puts forward some corresponding strategies for helping teacher of stimulate students' learning motivation and further turn the shallow motivation into the deep motivation.In the case of showing relevance in learning strategy and low application of understanding strategy,this thesis proposes strategies to promote students' learning strategy from shallow strategy to deep strategy.
