Patriotism is the fine tradition of the Chinese nation and the core content of the national spirit,and it is the source of power for us to stand in the forest of nations in the world.Middle school students,as a new person in the era who takes on the great responsibility of national rejuvenation,are the future of the motherland and the hope of the nation.It is an important task in the field of education to systematically and effectively educate them about patriotism,as well as the endogenous driving force for strengthening the country's prosperity and national rejuvenation.At the same time,in the environment where everything is media,new media has become a part of the human social environment,playing the strongest voice of the 21 st century,and exerting far-reaching and lasting influence on the production and life of human society.Therefore,the active introduction and innovative use of new media is of great significance and value to enhance the epochal character and effectiveness of patriotism education for middle school students.The research content of this paper is divided into three aspects.Literature research method,network questionnaire method,comprehensive analysis method and other research methods are adopted to sort out the research results in relevant fields at home and abroad,and it is concluded that the research results from the perspective of new media and middle school students' patriotism education are relatively weak.Based on the literature review,the first part elaborates the concepts related to new media and middle school students' patriotism education,and analyzes the characteristics of new media.As a kind of "time variable",new media brings the development opportunity to the patriotism education of middle school students,but also makes it face many new problems.In the second part with the aid of network questionnaire survey data,high school students under the new media era of patriotism education current situation and existing problems are analyzed,and pointed out that middle school students under the new media era of patriotism education has obtained the remarkable result,main performance in cognitive tend to be more clear to enhance patriotism,patriotic,patriotic action to real practice.Of course,there are also some problems with the achievements,which are mainly manifested as insufficient content,outdated means and lack of timeliness of patriotism education.At the same time,the reasons for the problems are summarized,including the deviation of the education subjects' cognition of new media,the traditional theoretical indoctrination method,the lack of practical application of new carriers,and the low media literacy of some teachers.Based on the analysis of the causes of the existing problems,the third part has carried on the countermeasure thinking from three angles: one is to adhere to the thought guidance first,to realize the patriotism education "casting soul and educating people";Second,adhere to the content innovation,promote the integration of patriotism education and new media;Third,we should attach importance to the construction of carriers and accelerate the integration of patriotism education and new media technology.In a word,with the rapid development of Internet technology,new media and all areas of social life are gradually deeply integrated.Making full use of the advantages of new media and helping the development of patriotism education for middle school students is the development trend of modernization and future.In the development of middle school students' patriotism education,we should combine the current situation,make full use of the media characteristics and technical advantages of new media,and effectively promote the innovative and integrated development of new media and middle school students' patriotism education from the perspective of the thoughts,contents and carriers.
