Mathematics operation ability is the focus that everybody pays attention to all the time.With the promulgation of the new curriculum standard,the requirement of students 'mathematical operation ability becomes higher and higher.Nevertheless,students still face many problems in mathematics operation,which means that high school mathematics teaching also faces greater challenges.At present,the high school student mathematics operation ability is relatively insufficient,has greatly affected student's mathematics achievement.Therefore,the cultivation of students 'mathematical operation ability has become an urgent problem.In order to understand the current level of mathematics operation ability of senior one students in ethnic minority areas,this study,by consulting relevant literature and books,using the methods of theoretical research,Literature Research,observation,interview,Questionnaire Survey,analysis,empirical research and other research methods,according to the daily work,test papers feedback information,based on the relevant theoretical basis,interview results and personal teaching experience,a questionnaire and a test paper on the mathematical operation ability of senior one students were developed.To analyze the data collected by the questionnaire,to understand the current level of the mathematics operation ability of the senior one students in ethnic minority areas,to solve the existing problems,to combine the characteristics of the subject teaching,and to meet the requirements of the new curriculum reform,this paper puts forward some teaching suggestions on how to cultivate students 'mathematical operation ability and put them into classroom teaching practice.Based on the results of the survey,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)the mathematics operation level of senior one students in ethnic areas is good on the whole;(2)the mathematics operation level of boys is higher than that of girls;(3)the mathematics operation level of the rural students is higher than that of the urban students;(4)the mathematics operation level of the Han students is better than that of the minority students;There are some differences in students 'mathematical operation level between school and school.Through the analysis of the questionnaire and test paper,the factors that affect the students 'mathematics operation ability are concluded.Students:(1)the basic knowledge and basic skills are not firmly grasped;(2)the mathematical thinking method is not firmly grasped;(3)the non-intelligence factors such as study interest,study habit and psychological quality have a great influence on the mathematics operation ability.Teachers:(1)teachers do not pay enough attention to the teaching of Mathematical Thought and method;(2)teachers do not pay enough attention to the training of Mathematical Operation Ability;(3)teachers do not arrange the course reasonably.According to the influencing factors and the actual situation of students in ethnic areas,the corresponding training strategies are given.Students:(1)to strengthen the study of basic knowledge and the training of basic skills;(2)to strengthen the study of mathematical thinking and methods;(3)to attach importance to the cultivation of non-intelligence factors such as students' study interest,study habit and will quality.Teachers:(1)teachers should attach importance to the teaching of basic knowledge and basic skills;(2)teachers should attach importance to the infiltration of mathematical thinking and methods in teaching;(3)to enhance teachers' awareness of the importance of cultivating Mathematical Operation Ability;(4)teachers to enhance the role of demonstration in teaching;(5)study of mathematics curriculum standards.
