The new curriculum standards require students not only to master the basic teaching concepts,teaching methods and teaching ideas,but also to deepen the understanding of the connections between concepts,and to systematize and organize relatively independent knowledge.Mind map is a kind of visual chart,which can correlate and logicalize scattered knowledge points,which is conducive to the establishment of a good knowledge structure for students.Exponential function,logarithmic function and power function are the basic elementary functions of high school,which are the further deepening and learning of the properties of functions.However,high school students have big problems in understanding the concept and nature of functions,which are difficult to grasp.Therefore,this article selects the chapter "Basic Elementary Functions I"as the research content,applies mind maps to teaching and learning,and explores the application strategies of mind maps in chapter content teaching.Research on teaching practice based on mind mapping,mainly through the teaching practice of experimental and control classes,test paper testing,questionnaire surveys,interviews and other research methods to carry out qualitative and quantitative analysis,and through comparative research,to explore whether the teaching of mind mapping can promote Students establish a good cognitive structure;explore the influence of mind map-based teaching on teachers and students;summarize how the mind map assists chapter teaching strategies.In this paper,through the continuous use of mind maps in new lectures,exercises and review classes,both teachers and students have a deeper understanding of the content of the entire chapter.Research shows that for teachers,teaching based on mind maps can change teachers' teaching concepts,improve the knowledge structure during teaching,and effectively improve the efficiency of classroom teaching.For students,learning based on mind maps can indeed enhance students' interest in learning,help students establish a good mathematical cognitive structure,optimize students' learning methods,and improve students' reading and problem-solving skills.
