As an important part of conic section,ellipse closely links number and shape.Through the study of ellipse,students can deepen their understanding of mathematics thinking and methods and cultivate the core competence of mathematics.As one of the important course types of high school mathematics,the exercise lesson is an indispensable and effective way to improve students' comprehensive use of knowledge and the ability to solve mathematical problems.The general review stage of high school is a critical period for students to check for omissions in mathematical knowledge,deepen their understanding,develop mathematical thinking in an all-round way,and improve mathematical ability.At present,most research focus on the first teaching of ellipse knowledge or teaching design of a certain exercise lesson.So,this article will try to study the teaching of "ellipse" exercises lesson in the first review stage of the third year of high school.This research takes Polya's problem-solving and constructivist learning theory as the theoretical basis,and makes detailed analysis of the common types of ellipse problems and the mathematics thinking and methods that commonly used in solving ellipse problems,and formulates teaching goals of "ellipse" exercises lesson in the first review stage of the third year of high school.In order to study the teaching of "ellipse"exercise class in first round of review stage more pertinently,this study selects the survey methods of classroom observation,questionnaire and interview to know the current situation of teaching,and finds that there are the following characteristics in the current teaching:firstly,exercise selection focuses on the model.Secondly,the teaching content focuses on problem-solving skills.Thirdly,teaching activities focus on problem solving.Aiming at the problems found in the current teaching situation,combined with the research on the ellipse problems and the theoretical basis of education and teaching,this thesis proposes optimal teaching strategy for the "ellipse" exercise lesson in the first review stage of the third year of high school is proposed.First of all,we must grasp the main line of the selection and organization of the teaching content of the exercises with a holistic perspective.Secondly,we must pay attention to the integration of mathematical thinking methods in elliptical exercises.By emphasizing the definition and application of mathematical thinking methods in the exercises lesson,students can deepen their understanding of the network of thinking methods in the ellipse.Finally,design teaching activities from the perspective of helping students learn to solve problems.By allowing students to participate in teaching activities and experience progressive problem-solving links,it helps students break through the bottleneck period of elliptical learning,strengthen their meta-cognitive monitoring skills when solving problems,and improve their mathematical ability.According to the above teaching strategies,a teaching design and simple practice are provided for on lesson of "ellipse" exercises in the first review stage of the third year of high school,so as to verify the effectiveness of the teaching strategies proposed in this study to improve the effectiveness of the exercises lesson.It is hoped that this research can give teachers a reference when designing a round of "elliptical" exercises in the review phase,and provide help for the development of efficient exercises lessons.
