Since the middle of 1980s, the exercise motivation has become a popular subject in the field of Sports Physiology research. A certain level of exercise motivation can make the exercise participators behave harder and better when they doing the exercises. Subjective exercise experience refers to the positive emotional state, the negative emotional state and the subjective experience degree of the participators reflect after they have done exercises, it is usually used to test the degree of psychological sense after exercise. This research focuses on the participators'exercise motivations and the features of the exercise activities; it attempts to analysis the participators'subjective exercise experience, the writer hopes this research can be helpful in offering some advices and experience for the badminton activities. This paper adopts such measurement tools as the MPAM-R made by Frederick & Ryan, McAuley & Coumeya's SEES which was invented in 1994, and the writer's physical exercise research sheet made by the writer himself, to study the 305 participators'exercise condition from Zhengzhou city. The research results are as the following:(1) In Zhengzhou, Badminton sport mainly young participants, meanwhile. the number of the male participators is two times as that of the female participators. The education level of the participation is featured as a Fusiform condition, and the participators with bachelor degree takes a large percent in the research. The professions of the participators are mainly staffs in the enterprises and in the state departments, as well as the free workers. Most of them insist on doing exercises for 1 to 2 years or more than 2 years, they mainly do exercises with their friends or their ball players.(2) The conditions of the frequency, the length of time and the strength degree of the exercises that the participators do in Zhengzhou are:the frequency is mainly-more than 2 times per week:the length of time is mainly between I to 2 hours; the strength degree of the exercises they choose are mainly powerful ones, what should to be pointed out is, male participator are always choose the powerful exercises while the female choose exercises proportionate.(3) The badminton participators in Zhengzhou have high scores on the motivations of keeping healthy and for entertainment, while the score is low in fitness. And the motivations are same in terms of the different ages and the education levels of the participators, however, the differences made by different gender and different professions are outstanding. Different genders are different in terms of health and entertainment; the differences on health, entertainment, ability, social communication motivation because of different professions are easy to see. The differences made by different profession reflected by the higher motivation level made by the state departments'staffs. These outcomes are the same with the hypothesis the writer made before this research, what is, the different personal factors of the physical exercises participators can influence their exercise motivations.(4) The participator's exercise motivation has a rather obvious influence on the exercise intensity, the frequency, and the length of time and the exercise activity has a positive correlation with the exercise motivation. Among the factors, the motivation to keep healthy has the greatest influence on the exercise intensity; the factor which deterrninate the exercise frequency is the motivation for entertainment; the motivations to get health and ability are influential to the length of the time every time they do exercises.(5) In each dimension of the subjective exercise experience of the participators. the score of positive happiness sense is highest while that of annoyance is lowest, fatigue stands in the middle place between the above two dimensions.(6) Participators in different ages are definitely not the same on positive happiness sense; different genders behave no obvious difference in terms of the three dimensions of subjective exercise experience, but the positive happiness sense female get in the exercise is lower while they have more annoyance and fatigue than those of male; participators with different education levels have obviously differences on the positive happiness sense, but no obvious difference on annoyance and fatigue: in terms of the positive happiness sense and fatigue of the participators from different professions, the difference is outstanding. The technical staffs score highest positive happiness sense among all the professions the research involved. But the difference on annoyance is not so great.(7) The intensity, frequency, and the length of time are significantly associated with the participator's subjective exercise experience. The positive happiness sense and the mental annoyance have a rather great influence on the intensity; the key factor determinate the frequency is the positive happiness sense; the positive happiness sense and the mental annoyance have a positive association with the length of time of each physical exercise, that is, the longer time the participator insists on doing exercises, the more positive happiness he/she will get from the exercise, however, the more mental annoyance he/she will get at the same time. These results are in line with the hypothesis of the writer made before this research, that is, participator's subjective exercise experience is different with the change of the exercises he/she does.(8) The exercise motivation is obviously positive correlated with the positive happiness sense; the four motivation dimensions, such as keeping healthy, for entertainment, fitness, and social communication, are obviously negative correlated with the mental annoyance dimension; health motivation have a obviously negative correlation with the fatigue dimension.
