Geography game-based teaching materials are a collection of all games that use interesting rules,scenarios,and classroom interaction to optimize the class room environment in order to achieve the main teaching goals of geography.The study of high school geography game-based teaching and learning materials as part of high school geography teaching materials is a further expansion of high school geography teaching resources and a premise for game-based teaching.But among the many game resources,what kind of game resources are suitable for high school geography teaching activities is an important issue discussed in this article.Through the establishment of a database of high school geography game-based teaching resources and the application of the gamification,the author stimulates students' interest in learning and practices the development of their creative thinking and comprehensive ability in geography by optimizing the classroom teaching methods.This paper draws the following conclusions from the research:First,the foundation and implementation of the teaching resource database of high school geography games has theoretical significance and practical significance.From the theoretical significance,it can optimize the teaching strategy of high school geography,deepen the theoretical system of geography teaching,and enhance the geography teaching resources.The use of geography games-based resources to teach from a practical sense can optimize and enrich the geography classroom teaching methods,which is beneficial to the transformation of students' learning styles and the implementation of the goals of the core education of the geography curriculum.Secondly,compared with other game-based teaching resources,geography game-based teaching resources are a collection of all games that combine classroom content and optimize the classroom teaching environment to achieve the geography core knowledge goals through interesting rules,scenarios,etc.and classroom interaction.Its purpose is to facilitate the achievement of geography as a core education goal.Thirdly,there are many kinds of high school geography game teaching resources,which are classified into electronic and traditional resources in terms of format,and serious games and educational games in terms of the design purpose of game materials.Combining the common and individual characteristics of geography,games and teaching resources,geography game teaching resources have the characteristics of fun,diversity,freedom,discipline and the process.Through the study of its educational function,I believe that the teaching and learning resources of high school geography games are beneficial to the development of students' geographical thinking ability,the transformation of geography learning style and the formation of geography learning interest and internal motivation.Fourth,the practical application of high school geographical games teaching materials should be established before the creation of a resource database through resource extraction,resource organization and resource selection in different categories to provide teachers with convenient teaching and learning applications.At the same time,the application should follow the scientific and viable application methods and principles,and evaluate the application from before class,during class and after class.Fifth,in the game-based teaching process of high school geography games-based teaching and learning resources,different games-based teaching and learning resources should be selected for the study of physical geography part and human geography part or different parts of the study.Through classroom observational activities and post-class tests,it is found that game-based teaching can better stimulate students' interest in learning and promote the cultivation of students' scientific skills and values in the classroom.This effect is especially prominent for some students who are struggling.
