The main function of mathematics learning is to set up people's thinking,and cultivating students' thinking ability is one of the important goals of mathematics education.As we all know,plane geometry has consistently been the best carrier to cultivate students' geometric intuition and logical thinking ability due to its abstractness of basic concepts and strictness of reasoning and argumentation.Therefore,successful geometry teaching should aim at the multifaceted development of thinking and is concentrated on the growth of rational thinking.However,in the traditional teaching mode,students' thinking training is often insufficient,and it is difficult for students to gradually become detached,critical,creative and cooperative learners in mathematics learning.Combined with the existing literature shows that,enhance the level of mathematical thinking and creative thinking training research mostly stay at the macro level,the research results are mostly general disciplines,and for specific branch(algebra,geometry,statistics and probability,etc.)of the study is less,so in this paper,under the background of the research focus on junior middle school "graphics and geometric" part of the teaching and research,aims to optimize the classroom teaching,to improve the quality of the minds of students.The "way of thinking" in mathematics teaching is to understand and express the ideas and methods of things mathematically and explain them clearly.That is,to interpret the mathematical way of thinking contained in the content.Based on this view,this paper based on the "shown by thinking" teaching design principles,students learning difficulties this part more respectively three links(concept of plane geometry teaching,understanding the nature of the graphics teaching,graphics geometry reasoning),three teaching Suggestions are put forward: based on the definition classification concept teaching;Grasp "the interrelation between elements and related elements" to understand the graphic nature hierarchically;Establish geometric reasoning mechanism to break through the barrier of proof thinking.On the basis of literature research,this paper adopts investigation research,statistical analysis,experimental research and other methods.With the help of the preliminary geometric thinking level test,the overall geometric thinking level of the students was statistically analyzed,and two classes at the same level were used to conduct the subsequent experimental teaching research.Three teaching suggestions are applicable to carry out teaching practice,and the teaching effect is compared with that of traditional teaching methods,so as to judge whether the teaching suggestions are operative in actual teaching.On the whole,this teaching experiment has achieved the expected results,and teaching suggestions have achieved results in practice.It is hoped that it will play a definite guiding and reference role for the teaching of "graphics and geometry" in junior middle school in the future.
