Geometry is one of the oldest mathematical components, and also the first to establish a branch of deductive axiomatic system. Geometry courses have become the focus of reform in different stages of mathematics development, which has been widely appreciated by many countries. Training space geometry concepts and reasoning ability of students plays an irreplaceable role in compulsory education. This paper is based on the third content of compulsory education-Graphics and Geometry field. Using the methods of literature, content analysis, comparative research and concept maps as tools to analysis the macro and micro dimensions of the three versions, which are Suke edition, PEP, Beijing Normal Edition, the following are onclusions:Firstly, in terms of the basic characteristics. All three versions of textbooks are focused on the building up of "Graphics and Geometry," The Beijing Normal textbook has the most pages and sections of all version while the PEP leads total hours. All versions of textbooks are in color printing, Suke edition textbook is rich in colors. The Beijing Normal edition textbook is relatively compact in typesetting.Secondly, in terms of presentation style, PEP is rich in Columns, while Beijing Normal edition textbooks and Suke edition only have reading part which is relatively simple.Thirdly, in the scheduling order, three versions arrange the course contents in three grades at the order of "line-triangles-quads-round,", follow from the general to the specific cognitive rules. However., there are still differences on the order of arrangements between sections and chapters.Fourthly, in column set. there are differences between three versions. The Suke edition textbooks have most species, but they are duplicate functionality; As for expansion, the PEP textbooks are outstanding; Suke edition textbooks and Beijing Normal edition textbook are better in action column.Fifthly, in terms of the depth and breadth of knowledge points. Triangles and quadrilaterals conclusions are very similar, the PEP textbooks are the best in junction points and breadth, the depth of the three versions are closer.Sixthly, the textbook definition of PEP concept focuses on graphics and text combined with intuitive, rigor; Suke edition textbook focuses on changes in the model used to define the movement, with vivid; Beijing Normal Edition focuses on the description of materials definition, with rigor and abstraction.Seventhly, in terms of the presentation of geometric reasoning, Suke edition textbook is divided into three phases, the transition time is short, the introduction of proveing time is earlier; Beijing Normal Edition textbook is divided into four stages, focusing on diversification of reasoning,it has a long transition time; PEP material is divided into three stages, the transition time is very long.Eighthly, the examples. There are most examples in Suke edition textbooks.Pure mathematical proportions occupy a large proportion in three teaching materials. Most of Beijing Normal Edition and Suke edition textbooks’examples contain one knowledge points while the PEP textbooks contain two. Finally, based on the above discussion the author puts forward some personal views on the "Graphics and Geometry" textbook writing.
