Micro-video is a short video with a length of 5 minutes designed for a certain point of knowledge.The use of micro-video to assist junior high school biology teaching has the following advantages: improve students’ scientific literacy,help promote my country’s biological education reform,Micro-video teaching can adapt to the characteristics of easy distraction of junior high school students,promote the efficiency of biology teaching,stimulate students’ interest,break through the key points and difficulties of biology teaching,fully demonstrate biological experiments,and enhance the understanding of knowledge.This research uses questionnaires to understand the current situation of teachers and students using micro-videos to assist teaching.The results show that the vast majority of teachers believe that micro-videos have many advantages and are necessary to use.However,in terms of frequency of use,half of the teachers are very Less use of micro-videos in teaching,why? The author guesses there are two reasons: The first is that nearly half of the survey group are old teachers.Old teachers have been teaching for many years.Compared with young teachers,the teaching style is fixed,it is difficult to accept new things,and the micro-video requires computer operation.For old teachers,it is difficult to overcome;the second point is that there are some difficulties in the use of micro-videos.The top three difficulties are that the search for suitable videos on the website takes time and effort;the content of some videos is not completely close.The teaching content still needs to be intercepted,but biology teachers cannot operate it;it is very difficult to make a suitable video.In response to the above pain points,the author collected micro-videos on major video sites and found that the micro-videos designed by the two platforms of "Master of Biology" and "Lele Classroom" are of high quality.For example,"Master of Biology" is an explanation of every knowledge.After 100 hours of brainstorming by the team,the meticulously produced micro-videos contain various documentaries or animation clips,which can be directly used for teaching.Therefore,the author collected a total of 188micro-videos produced on the "Le Le Classroom" platform,"Master of Biology" 》The59 micro-videos produced by the platform,and the corresponding textbook chapters of each micro-video,the knowledge points involved,and the length of the video are all made into a table for teachers to use for reference.The author then studies how to use the above micro-videos to assist teaching in classroom teaching,and carefully compiles teaching plans,and then selects the class implementation.After implementation,according to the specific circumstances of micro-video-assisted teaching,I give suggestions: appropriate use of micro-videos to assist teaching;content of micro-videos Teaching content should be closely linked;micro-videos should be used skillfully.Finally,the evaluation and analysis of the effect of micro-video assisted teaching.Through the above practice,it is concluded that micro-video plays an extremely important role in junior high school biology teaching;junior high school biology teachers in Jianyang City use micro-videos less frequently;micro-videos produced by professional teams such as "Le Le Classroom" can solve the problem Some use pain points.And after a lot of practice,it is found that micro-video assisted junior high school biology teaching can significantly improve students’ interest in learning,classroom learning efficiency and biology learning performance.The recommendations are: the government level should develop more micro-video resources suitable for teaching;the school level should organize biology teachers to establish a micro-video resource library;the biology teacher level should make micro-video-assisted biology teaching the normal teaching.
