Flipped classroom is a teaching method,it rise in our country in recent years.Flipped classroom is present knowledge by video or digital learning materials and other forms, through independent learning enable students to achieve knowledge before class,through teacher and students cooperation enable students to achieve the internalization of knowledge in class time.But there is lack of research about flipped classroom applied in biology courses in high school.So we hope this research can enrich this field.The sample consisted of two parallel class students on first grade in Gui Yang No.2 high school.The research method is Pretest-Posttest Design with Nonequivalent Groups which is belong to quasi-experiment.We set up the experiment group and control group,then collect the Junior High School Etrance Exam performanc as pretest,and collect experiment and control groups’ three times examination results,including September exams, half of the exams and final exams as postest.Use the two independent sample t-test method to analysis this data.The result:there is no significant difference in student performance between experiment group and control group in Junior High School Etrance Exam,September test and half of the test(P>0.05).There is significant difference in student performance between experiment group and control group in final exam(P<0.05).Furthermore, through questionnaires understand student attitudes about the biological flipped classroom.55 questionnaires are distributed in the experiment group,and received 55 questionnaires,have 53 valid questionnaires.Then use descriptive statistic method analysis the survey results.The result: 87% of students believe that self-study materials before the flipped classroom lessons did not increase the burden of learning.77% of the students are initiative complete to the learning task before class.79% of students believe that the micro-video teaching can help learn.84% of students believe that QQ platform is simple to operation, easy to communication.63% of students can adapt to learning activities in flipped classroom.56% of students believe that there is enough communication between class and teacher in class.55% of students think through analysis and discussion in class,they can deep understand the knowledge.82% of the students think that flipped classroom improve their self-learning ability.42% of students feel flipped classroom teaching improve their interest in biological studies.83% of students show that they prefer to flipped classroom teaching.Through this study we can draw the follow conclusions: First,flipped classroom can improve student performance in long time,but it can not improve student performance in short time.Second,flipped classroom teaching can improve students’ self-learning ability, and students prefer to this teaching method.
