With the rapid development of social economy and culture since the 21 st century,the arrival of the information age has set a new standard for the assessment of talents.Fragmented knowledge,short-term memory and shallow learning was fulfill the requirement of the epoch.After the new curriculum standards of chemistry in senior high school were issued in 2017 with the curriculum reform in full momentum,the core literacy has become a favorite of many researchers.Deep learning is a general trend of international education reform and a powerful embodiment of the core accomplishment of chemistry science.In this paper,literature analysis,observation and case studies are adopted to the research.The main contents are presented as follows:The thesis is divided into five parts and the first part is the introduction.The second part is related to the concepts and theories.Based on the existing research results at home and abroad,this paper analyzes the connotation and significance of deep learning,chemistry core literacy and unit teaching.The third part is about the research of large unit teaching design based on deep learning theory.According to the present situation of senior high school students' study of matter and its change in Unit 1 of compulsory Chemistry,and discussed with many front-line teachers,referring to a large number of periodical literature,combining the author's own four years' chemistry teaching experience in senior high school,this paper discusses how to carry out the large unit teaching of chemistry based on the theory of deep learning.On the basis of the new curriculum standard,and comparing the units of matter and its change in Chapter 1 of new and old Chemistry Human Education Edition,the three units' learning themes of compulsory concept teaching are determined.(1)The cognition of elements and the material world,the view of elements and classification.(2)Understanding solutions from a microscopic perspective,ionization,ion reaction.(3)Comprehending the changes of substances based on the valence of the core elements,redox reactions,oxidants and reducing agents,and a teaching design case is also written for Theme 2.The fourth part is the teaching practice and result analysis about the detailed plan of large unit teaching design based on deep learning theory.With the help of the chemistry compulsory teaching in senior high school,two classes whose entrance scores are distributed by computer are selected,and they are studies in unit teaching practice based on deep learning theory for more than half a semester.In the process of practice,the new teaching model has attracted the attention of a large number students.To observed the implementation process and the changes from the two,this thesis try to analyzes different effects of the two teaching models on the students.The fifth part is the conclusion and prospect.From the overall comparison of the two classes,the implementation effect of the unit teaching design model is better.Through the use of large-unit teaching design based on deep learning theory,the performance of the experimental class has been significantly improved,classroom participation,enthusiasm and logical thinking are all promoted obviously.In addition,the experimental class is more efficient in completing after-school homework,and some students begin to put forward challenging tasks spontaneously,and their experimental inquiry ability and cooperative communication ability are better than those of the comparative class.In the new teaching model,students as the main body,cooperative communication and deal with challenging problems under the guidance of teachers.In this process,students' autonomous learning ability,cooperation and communication ability,hands-on experimental ability and logical reasoning ability have been fully cultivated,thus making students have more enthusiasm for chemistry learning on the basis of mastering core knowledge and improving their overall comprehensive quality,which further meets the needs of the country for talents cultivation in the 21 st century.
