Reading is the important and best way for people to understand life and acquire knowledge.In 2006,China began to advocate reading activities for the whole people,and put reading at the height of improving national progress.No matter whoever you are,the old or the young,we should pay attention to reading.And for the elementary students whose knowledge is in the enlightening stage,reading can broaden their knowledge,help them think and improve their abilities.Enshi is located in the mountainous area,the rural transportation is inconvenience and teaching resources shortage is serious,which causes the source of students to decrease gradually,and there are more and more the rural small-scale schools.To improve the teaching quality of these schools,Enshi is implementing the teaching concept of 361 Happy Classroom for rural small-scale schools in recent years,which advocates that classroom teaching should achieve 3 characteristics,that is to say,the students can get growth,interest and experience.Besides,the other 6 characteristics means the teachers should pay attention to students 100 percent,the teachers should listen to the classroom 100 percent,the teachers ought to interact with students 100 percent,the teachers should make use of information technology 100 percent,the teachers can give the individual help 100 percent and the teachers should check the students homework face to face100 percent.The final aim is to have a good lesson which makes learning really happen.Applying the 361 Happy Classroom teaching concepts will be helpful to solve the rural small-scale schools' reading problems.For example,students have no interest in reading,students' reading experience is not deep and they get nothing through reading and so on.Under the guidance of 361 Happy Classroom concepts,reading teaching in rural small-scale schools has been implemented from the aspects of teacher guiding,students subjects and cooperation between teachers and students.But in the process of practice,there are some problems.For example,the teachers' theory quality is not good enough,there are differences between theory and practice,and it is difficult to realize the theory.In order to solve these problems,the author puts forward the relevant policies.The author thinks that the teachers' leading role should be strengthened and subjects students status should be adhered,which provides certain theoretical support for 361 Happy Classroom teaching concepts' realization in the small rural school reading teaching process.
