Beginning teachers are fresh blood injected into the teaching staff.They are full of vigor and vitality,and they are the mainstay of promoting the professional development of teachers.Only by ensuring the comprehensive and healthy development of new teachers can we build a stronger and more professional teaching team.However,the beginning teachers are not all smooth sailing at the beginning of their employment.They face a lot of confusion and discomfort in their work.The adaptability of new teachers at the beginning of their employment not only directly affects their future professional development,but also directly determines whether they decide to continue their teaching profession.However,the research on the professional development of teachers in our country started relatively late,and the problem of occupational adaptation of primary school teachers has not received enough attention.Therefore,it is very necessary to find out the problems in the occupational adaptation of primary school teachers in time.In order to gain a deeper understanding of the difficulties faced by novice teachers,this article adopts the narrative research in the “qualitative” research,and selects three novice teachers with professional maladjustment from H Primary School in Shijiazhuang City as the research objects.In the specific teaching place where the teacher lives,the current situation of the research object's occupational maladjustment is explored.On the basis of data sorting and analysis,this study presents the current situation of three teachers' professional maladjustment in the form of story text,and conducts in-depth analysis of the entry story,explores the influencing factors of the three teachers' professional maladjustment,and draws relevant conclusions.The core concepts of “beginning teachers” and “beginning teachers' occupational adaptation” are sorted out by consulting related literature,and the connotation of the occupational maladjustment of primary school teachers is clarified.At the same time,based on the teacher's career cycle theory and occupational adaptation theory,four dimensions of the occupational adaptation of novice teachers are determined: occupational environment adaptation,occupational psychological adaptation,occupational skill adaptation and occupational interpersonal adaptation.Through in-depth interviews,supplemented by observations,collection of data and analysis,three stories of teachers' professional maladjustment were presented from four dimensions,and in-depth analysis was carried out.The study found that the three teachers' maladjustment to the professional environment is mainly concentrated in the spiritual environment of the school,which is manifested as dissatisfaction with the leadership teaching work arrangement and difficulty in adapting to the school's non-teaching work;the professional psychological maladaptation is mainly reflected in the deviation of professional understanding and role Delayed conversion and weak professional conviction;maladjustment of professional skills is mainly manifested by insufficient teaching ability and lack of class management experience;professional interpersonal maladjustment is mainly manifested as difficulty in grasping the "degree" with students,difficulties in communicating with students' parents,and The leadership relationship is tense.Based on the interpretation and analysis of the stories of the three teachers,it was found that the three teachers' professional maladaptation factors: 1.Teachers' personal factors,including career motivation,personality characteristics,and pre-service education;2.School environment factors,including induction training,teachers Apprenticeship,management style,etc.Therefore,it is very necessary for new teachers to provide personal environment and school organizational environment support.
