Pedagogical content knowledge plays an important role for teachers' professional development and new curriculum reform.This paper studies the status of pedagogical content knowledge of high school mathematics teachers and explores the differences in the use of Pedagogical content knowledge by teachers at different stages of development.The paper aims to enhance teachers' understanding of pedagogical content knowledge,so that they can continuously improve and develop their own Pedagogical content knowledge,and improve the quality and level of teaching.First,literature research method was used to construct the Pedagogical content knowledge of high school mathematics teachers.Second,questionnaire survey method was used to conduct a quantitative analysis of the current situation of Pedagogical content knowledge,and exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were used to test the reliability and validity of the questionnaire;Case study method and interview method were used to carry out a qualitative analysis of the application of Pedagogical content knowledge.Finally,comparative approach was used to explore the differences of Pedagogical content knowledge between novice teachers and experienced teachers.The result shows that high school mathematics teachers have good Pedagogical content knowledge,but there are significant differences between experienced teachers and novice teachers.Experienced teachers use Pedagogical content knowledge better than novice teachers,but their differences in various dimensions are not the same.Their difference in mathematics knowledge and teaching strategy knowledge is not significant;in content organization knowledge and teaching situation knowledge is significant;in teaching objective knowledge and student understanding knowledge is extremely significant.Based on the conclusions of this paper,the following suggestions were put forward for the development of novice teachers' Pedagogical content knowledge:(1)To study the curriculum standards and be familiar with the teaching objectives of each class;(2)to actively communicate with students and pay more attention to students;(3)to observe more experienced teachers' classrooms and attach importance to the communication between teachers;(4)to consciously reflect on teaching and focus on the accumulation of teaching experience.
