With the rapid development of information technology and the increasing demand for comprehensive talents,STEAM education emerges as the times require.STEAM education is to create a real problem situation,break discipline barriers,integrate knowledge of various disciplines,cultivate students' scientific,engineering,technical,mathematical and artistic qualities in the process of problem solving,and finally cultivate all-round talents suitable for the development of the future world.There are many curriculum designs based on this concept,but there are few curriculum designs for mathematics subjects,especially for high school mathematics content,and even fewer teaching designs for high school mathematics synchronous curriculum.Mathematics is an important element in STEAM education.The author thinks that mathematics,as one of the core qualities of STEAM education,has not been given due attention and use.High school mathematics knowledge is highly abstract,students can not see the application value of mathematics.The integration of STEAM education concept helps students understand the basic function of mathematics and improve their interest in learning mathematics.This paper takes STEAM education as the theoretical guidance,summarizes the connotation,characteristics and mode of steam education concept.Combined with the teaching content of trigonometric function in senior high school,this paper attempts to explore the design process of senior high school mathematics curriculum based on steam education concept(1)Preparation stage: this stage is divided into three stages.(1)Analysis of learning situation: analysis of students' initial ability and existing knowledge level.It is convenient to set the teaching design of this lesson and divide the students of similar level into a group in the group experiment.(2)Analysis of teaching content: teaching content,key points,difficulties,knowledge of other subjects that can be combined with teaching materials,problem situation,teaching tools,equipment and technology that need to be prepared.(3)Analysis of teaching objectives: Core quality teaching objectives;STEAM education literacy objectives.(2)Implementation stage: this stage includes seven links.(1)Situation introduction: create a real problem situation,let students immerse in the problem situation as far as possible,stimulate students' desire to explore and positive interest in learning.(2)Finding problems: let students find problems independently as far as possible,and have full attention and curiosity to the problems.And guess,discuss the cause of the problem or phenomenon,grasp the overall design direction of the scheme.(3)Design experiment,evaluation experiment: divided into groups,division of labor and cooperation.Design scheme,determine the required devices,and evaluate the scheme.The evaluation is mainly the mutual evaluation between groups and the teacher's evaluation of the feasibility and accuracy of the group experiment.However,the teacher does not have to tell the students the result of the scheme directly,so that the students can find the problems themselves and improve the experiment.Write down the overall plan in written form,including tools,technical equipment,time,possible problems and data to be collected.(4)Experimental preparation: prepare the required experimental equipment and assign each member to be responsible for the work.The preparation of the experimental device can be different for each group,and the equipment can be prepared according to the designed scheme.(5)Implement experiment:implement experiment,debug and improve experiment,find and verify problems.If the experiment is not successful,it is also a part of exploration activities,and the experiment is not necessarily successful.If the experiment fails,students need to find problems in the process,improve the experiment,and then implement the experiment.(6)Collect data,analyze data: collect the required data,use mathematical tools to analyze data.(7)Test results: test whether the experimental results are consistent with the conjecture,if not,what are the reasons for the differences.(3)Evaluation stage: this stage is mainly communication learning,summary and reflection.The group summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of this experiment,the existing problems and the ways to avoid.Each group sent representatives to report the results of the experiment and the problems found in the process of the experiment.The teacher helped to analyze the causes of the problems.(4)Application stage: the main content of this stage is to enrich knowledge and transfer application.After the implementation of an experiment,students have a new understanding of the problem,and have a certain method to solve the corresponding problem.Set a similar problem,students can solve it,and transfer the application.The three teaching designs of steam course based on trigonometric function are: trigonometric function and moon phase,trigonometric function and pendulum,trigonometric function and sound wave.The conclusions are as follows(1)High school mathematics teachers should actively explore the teaching design of the curriculum under the steam education concept.Steam education concept has rich connotation,which can effectively solve the boring problem of high school mathematics class.At the same time,in the process of designing teaching,teachers can improve their steam literacy,which is conducive to the growth and development of teachers.(2)The curriculum design and implementation under steam education concept need multi-party cooperation.Steam education requires solving problems in real problem situations,and has higher requirements on environment and equipment.At present,the education conditions in China are limited,and most places can not meet the requirements.Therefore,when designing experiments,students should be guided to use daily supplies to make experiments,reduce the cost of experiments,and be more conducive to the development of students.In addition,steam education is a multi-disciplinary integration course,which requires the cooperation and communication of multi-disciplinary teachers and even talents from other professions.All these require the support and joint efforts of all educational parties.
