The middle school classroom emphasizes the importance of the student’s dominant position in teaching,and the inquiry-based teaching model can strengthen the connection between students and teachers in inquiry activities,promote students’ active participation in the classroom,and play a positive role in enhancing the student’s dominant position.The 5E teaching mode belongs to the inquiry teaching mode,which emphasizes the importance of the concept establishment process in the inquiry teaching.Therefore,the theoretical research and application research of the 5E teaching mode have gradually attracted widespread attention.Chemistry concept knowledge is the basis for learning other chemistry knowledge.Due to the abstraction and complexity of chemical concept knowledge,chemical concept teaching has always been the most difficult point in high school chemistry teaching.This research applies the 5E teaching model to high school chemistry concept teaching to provide new ideas for high school chemistry concept classroom teaching,with a view to solving problems in chemistry concept teaching,improving students’ understanding of chemistry concepts and improving students’ chemistry concept learning Happening.This research is divided into six parts: The first part is an introduction,explaining the current research status of 5E teaching mode and chemistry concepts at home and abroad;the second part is concept definition and theoretical foundation;the third part is research design,using 5E teaching mode for chemistry Conceptual teaching design;the fourth part is the experimental process.The 5E teaching mode is applied to the actual teaching of chemistry concepts.The use of quasi-experimental methods,questionnaires and interviews to test the 5E teaching mode for students’ chemistry concept learning,chemistry learning performance and chemistry The impact of the level of concept understanding;the fifth part is the teaching strategy,according to the teaching practice research,puts forward the implementation strategy of the chemical concept teaching based on the 5E teaching mode;the sixth part is the conclusion and prospects,and summarizes the research results and deficiencies.Through research,the application effect of 5E teaching mode in chemical concept teaching is obtained:(1)It effectively improves students’ chemical concept learning.After a questionnaire survey,it was found that after applying the 5E teaching mode in the chemical concept teaching of the experimental class,the current situation,motivation and learning methods of the students in the experimental class were significantly improved compared with the control class.Moreover,the academic performance of the students in the experimental class has improved greatly compared with the control class,which proves that the application of the 5E teaching model in the teaching of chemistry concepts can improve students’ chemistry performance.(2)The 5E teaching mode effectively improves students’ understanding of chemical concepts.Taking the "electrolyte concept" teaching as an example,the electrolyte concept understanding level of the experimental class students is significantly different from that of the control class.Under the guidance of the 5E teaching mode,nearly half of the students in the experimental class are at level 2 of the electrolyte concept understanding level,and nearly half of the control class Of students are still at level one,and the students in the experimental class have a higher level of understanding of electrolyte concepts than in the control class.(3)After conducting interviews with the students in the experimental class,it is found that the students can accept the 5E teaching mode in chemical concept teaching,and the 5E teaching mode has improved the students’ learning methods and the learning of chemical concepts.
