According to the requirements of the unit instruction design,teachers should consider the characteristics of students' psychological cognitive development,and grasp the teaching content macroscopically from the perspective of promoting students' systematic mastery of knowledge and implementing core competencies.Learning quadratic equation with one unknown is an important way to penetrate the thought of equation,since a variety of mathematical core competencies are contained in its content system.It can play a connecting role in junior and senior high school mathematics knowledge and promote students' operation ability as well by learning quadratic equation with one unknown.Therefore,this paper mainly conducts the research on the unit instruction design of quadratic equation with one unknown from the following perspectives.Firstly,it states the research background of this research,illustrates in detail the unit instruction design at home and abroad and the research status of the quadratic equation with one unknown in China,further states the necessity of this research,and puts forward the existing problems and significance of the current research accordingly.Secondly,it defines the concepts of the quadratic equation with one unknown and instruction design of a mathematics units respectively,and also elaborates the research ideas and methods of this paper.Thirdly,it analyzes the teaching elements of the quadratic equation with one unknown from the following six dimensions,such as mathematics content,different versions of textbooks,curriculum standards,students' learning situation,important and difficult points and teaching methods,etc.Finally,based on the conclusion drawn from the analysis of teaching elements in Chapter 3,this paper obtains the teaching enlightenment for the teaching of the quadratic equation with one unknown,and determines the teaching objectives and class hours of the quadratic equation with one unknown unit guided by the core competencies of mathematics by taking the optimization of the integrity and systematicness of the teaching design as purpose,furthermore,it also performs the design on two specific classes,i.e."Understanding the quadratic equation with one unknown" and "Solving the quadratic equation with one unknown with matching methods".This paper sums up the mathematical core competencies contained in the unit of the quadratic equation with one unknown based on the research of its unit instruction design.In the meantime,it also gains a clearer understanding of the steps of unit instruction design combined with mathematical core competencies.It is hope that the research of this paper can help students to construct the knowledge structure of the quadratic equation with one unknown,and help junior high school mathematics teachers to unit instruction design,thereby achieving better unit instruction effect.
