In secondary school mathematics,the concept of the function is of great significance,not only marking a major shift from constants to variables in algebra,but also an important part of the annual examinations,accounting for a high score on the examination paper,which is a key point of study for students.Compared to other knowledge in middle school,function is so abstract that it is hard to comprehend,which is also a tough point for students to conquer.However,the traditional evaluation of function learning is mostly based on test scores,which focuses on quantitative rather than qualitative evaluation.Therefore,based on solo theory and combining with the core literacy of mathematics,it is of great significance to the evaluation of function learning of ninth grade students.The content of this study includes the following aspects:first,applying solo theory,we can divide the cognitive level of students' knowledge about function.Second,the paper compiles the test volume of primary function and secondary function.Third,the paper collates the recovered test papers,summarizes and analyzes the students' cognition level of primary function and secondary function,analyzes the development of students' mathematics core literacy,and puts forward corresponding teaching suggestions according to the results.The following conclusions were obtained from the survey: 1?in general,the cognitive levels of ninth grade students about primary and quadratic functions have similarities and differences;in the case of concepts,most people are at the M level;as to images and attributes,primary functions are mainly at the M level,which is lower than the R level of quadratic functions;in terms of practical applications,primary functions are also lower than quadratic functions,which are at the U level and the M level,respectively.2?From the perspective of different schools,there is still a certain degree of disparity between rural middle schools and urban middle schools,and students at low levels are more distributed in rural middle schools,and the quantity of students at high levels in urban middle schools is higher.3? From the perspective of different genders,conditions vary from boys to girls students in four aspects:the concept and practical application of primary function,concept of quadratic function,image and attributes of quadratic function,and the cognitive level of girls is inferior to that of boys,while there is a slight distinction in the other two aspects.4?from the perspective of different ethnic groups,Han and ethnic minorities are quite different in the dimension of quadratic function.concept,and the cognitive level of Han Chinese is better in this aspect,while there is no significant variance in the other five aspects,implying that the influence of ethnicity on the cognitive level of primary and quadratic functions is not significant.5?From the angle of the relation between the growth of core literacy in mathematics and the growth of cognitive level,they have a very close relationship,and the former is the basis of the latter,the stronger the core literacy,the better the cognitive level students achieve.Based on the students' answers of the examination paper,we can easily find the reasons that influence the study of function of ninth grade students are:(1)not profound grasp of function concepts,floating on the surface;(2)inflexible use of function properties;(3)not profound grasp of the idea of combining numbers and shapes;(4)there's shortage of writing skills and poor reading ability;(5)lack of discipline in problem solving;(6)The core quality of mathematics is weak.In view of the actual status and questions of students' function study,these teaching strategies are suggested:(1)lay emphasis on the learning of concepts and do the fundamental work;(2)strengthen the connection between mathematics and life and improve comprehension;(3)foster the custom of reading and strengthen reading ability;(4)clarify the importance of board writing and visualize thinking;(5)focus on the cultivation of core literacy in mathematics.From the point of thinking level,it gives some reference to the teaching of primary and quadratic functions,which both enriches the way teachers teach functions and facilitates students' study,laying the roots for students' learning of functions such as exponential and logarithmic functions when they enter high school.
