Binary primary equations are an important part of junior middle school equations.They are the continuation and development of univariate primary equations.They are also the cornerstone of linear equations and plane analytical geometry.At present,there is little research on the cognitive level of binary primary equations,while SOLO classification theory pays attention to the evaluation of students' learning quality,which can well analyze the thinking level and cognitive level of students' solution process.Therefore,based on SOLO classification theory,this paper studies the cognitive level of binary primary equations of junior middle school students.This paper designs and tests the test paper from the three dimensions of concept understanding,simple application and comprehensive application of binary primary equations Based on the data analyzed by Excel and SPSS24.0 softwares and the results of the interview,the following research conclusions are drawn:1.The overall cognitive level of binary first-order equations of junior middle school students is mainly at the level of correlation structure.2.There are significant differences in students' cognitive level among different grades.The overall cognitive level of students in Grade 9 is higher than that in Grade 8.It can be seen that after the review of grade 9,students' cognitive level has been improved to a certain extent;There are significant differences between different classes.When there is little difference in the basis of students,teachers' teaching experience will affect students' cognitive level;There was no significant difference between different genders.3.The factors affecting the cognitive level of binary first-order equations of junior middle school students:(1)the concept understanding is not thorough;(2)Do not grasp the essence of solving,mechanically solve problems repeatedly;(3)Lack of thinking methods;(4)The knowledge system is imperfect and lacks the connection between knowledge.Combined with the above research conclusions,this paper puts forward the following teaching suggestions for teachers to improve the cognitive level of binary first-order equations of junior middle school students:(1)pay attention to concept teaching;(2)Emphasizing the essence and variant practice;(3)Infiltrate thought and cultivate ability;(4)Improve the knowledge system and pay attention to the connection between knowledge;(5)Integrate SOLO into mathematics teaching.
