Function is the main tool to explore the change of movement.It plays an important role in all fields of mathematics to solve practical problems through mathematical modeling.It is also essential for students to cultivate their core literacy.Because students are explore to variables for the first time in junior high school,it is difficult to understand function knowledge.Both gifted and potential students are prone to make mistakes when solving problems related to function,and the emendation effect is not good.For the above reasons,this paper applies the ACT-R theory to teaching practice,hoping to get some teaching enlightenment on the correction of problem solving errors in function module.This paper mainly studies the following issues:What is the current situation of errors in solving problems of the function module of the nine-grade students in the actual teaching process;What are the types of problem solving errors made by Grade9 students in the function module;What are the teaching strategies of error correction based on the ACT-R theory in problem solving.In order to answer the above questions,this paper obtained the research status of problem-solving error correction strategies through literature method.It analyzed the connotation of ACT-R theory and deeply explored the enlightenment of ACT-R theory on the correction of problem-solving errors in teaching practice.Through the questionnaire survey method,this paper knew about nine-grade students' understanding of the problem-solving errors,students' and teachers' understanding of the problem-solving errors classification,the reasons for the students' problem-solving errors as well as the current situation of the teacher's handling for the problem-solving errors,and then analysed the common types of problem-solving errors in the function modules at the stage of junior high school.According to the survey results,this paper divides them into four categories: knowledge errors,strategic errors,logical errors and unconscious errors.This paper analyses the four types of problem-solving errors through specific examples and puts forward the corresponding problem-solving error correction teaching strategies based on the ACT-R theory: refines practice strategies,practice makes perfect strategies,transfer and understanding strategies and examination and reflection strategies.In order to test the effectiveness of the proposed strategy,this paper compared these four strategies with conventional error correction methods and conducted an experimental research.It showed that the strategy is effective in practical application process,which is shown in the following aspects: this strategy is helpful to the improvement of students' mathematics performance,the reduction of the same type of errors,the cultivation of the habit of correcting errors in problem solving and the formation of the ability to reflect after the question.
