Types And Causes Of Errors In "logarithm And Logarithmic Function" Problem Solving By Senior High School Students

It is very normal for students to make some mistakes in the process of mathematics learning.What we should do is to face up to students' mistakes and problems,find out their roots and correct them in time.This is a very key process and irreplaceable educational significance.Taking "logarithm and logarithm function" as the carrier,this paper focuses on studying the types and causes of errors made by senior one students in solving problems,and puts forward corresponding teaching suggestions based on the research results.The following research questions are identified in this study:1.Analyze the cognitive errors made by grade one students in solving logarithm and logarithm function by compiling test papers.2.Based on the specific types of errors made by students in the test paper,and combined with the results of the questionnaire of students and teachers,the reasons for these errors were found from the cognitive factors and non-cognitive factors of students respectively.3.Based on the conclusions drawn from the analysis of the questionnaires and test papers,the author tries to put forward some specific suggestions in order to improve the teaching efficiency of teachers and reduce the occurrence of similar mistakes in the problem-solving process of students.This paper adopts the method of combining theoretical research with empirical research,including literature analysis,questionnaire survey,trace analysis and interview.The main research tools used are: a student questionnaire,a student test paper,and a teacher questionnaire.This study analyzes the problem solving errors of students from four aspects,which are:knowledge error,logical error,strategic error,and negligence error.The main contents are as follows:1.The error types of logarithm and logarithm function solving problems of senior one students are divided into knowledge error,logical error,strategic error and negligence error,and the typical error types of students are presented according to their answers.2.According to the types of errors in the test paper and the results of the questionnaire,the causes are classified as cognitive factors and non-cognitive factors.Among them,cognitive factors are the main influencing factors,and non-cognitive factors are used to support the research conclusion of this paper.Finally,on the basis of the research conclusions,according to the types and causes of students' errors in logarithm and logarithm function solving problems,relevant teaching suggestions are put forward for reference.
