| Regional cognition is one of the four core qualities of geography subject,and it is also the core concept in geography teaching in middle school.The regional characteristic of geography determines that the region should be used as the carrier to solve practical problems in geography teaching in middle school.This requires teachers and students to have a certain regional cognition basis,so it is important and necessary to study it.To measure the regional cognition level of teachers and students in middle schools,we can use the regional cognition teaching quality evaluation scale.At present,the existing scale pays more attention to regional geographical knowledge,methods and abilities,not only the content goal is not systematic and comprehensive,but also the judgment of cognitive level is limited to Bloom’s educational goal system or Anderson’s perfect taxonomy of cognitive ability.Based on this,the innovation of this paper is not only to classify and define,to expand the breadth and depth of regional cognition content,but also to measure it,in the form of score to present the cognitive level of a certain index,to understand the true height of the stage of regional cognition level as far as possible.This paper designs an efficient and reasonable evaluation scale of regional cognition teaching quality,and gives a detailed description of its performance in the stage: one is that it develops a scale based on regional cognition performance in the new curriculum standard and SOLO theory.The advantage is that it can connect well with the geography curriculum standard of senior high school(2017 edition)and can be applied to teaching materials in various versions.At the same time,SOLO theory is used to accurately characterize the cognitive process from quantitative to qualitative change,from unstructured to structured,and to emphasize that the development of cognition is the unity of continuity and discontinuity;The other is that it based on the content of regional cognition in the new curriculum standard and the theory of cognitive psychology.The advantage lies in the further supplement and explanation of the existing scale.It is measured from six angles: regional geography knowledge,regional cognitive method,cognitive ability,regional view,regional situation and regional perspective.At the same time,it accords with the law of cognitive development and shows the evolutionary process from feeling to perception to cognition.The scale based on SOLO theory and cognitive psychology theory is actually developed to "complement each other".It not only embodies the structural characteristics of the scale itself,but also highlights the process of matching with human cognition to depict regional cognition level more comprehensively and objectively.Therefore,the scale based on regional cognition performance in the new curriculum standard and SOLO theory is taken as the first half of the scale.the scale based on the content of regional cognition in the new curriculum standard and the theory of cognitive psychology is taken as the second half of the scale.The conclusions of the two scales parts can be verified to ensure the scientific and reasonable of the scale.As for the framework construction of the scale.First,we should define the evaluation objectives of the scale,carry out qualitative and quantitative evaluation of the regional cognition level of the research object,and then summarize the basis for the formation of the regional cognition level evaluation index.Finally,the level division and corresponding cognitive content of each index should be clarified.The scale framework based on the performance of regional cognition in the new curriculum standard and the theory of SOLO is based on the index of systematic formation of regional cognition.Based on SOLO theory,it divides cognitive height vertically.The scale framework based on the content of regional cognition and cognitive psychology theory build the relationship between geography education practice and cognitive psychology theory.It is based on the existing indicators of the systematic formation of regional cognition,and its vertical is based on the cognitive psychology theory of cognitive height division.As for the application of the scale,from the design of the scale,the selection of the survey object and the test of the scale for specific norms and guidance,mainly carries on the direct appraisal and the indirect appraisal.The results show that: First,the scale is scientific and effective,the former part focuses on the process evaluation of thinking from quantitative change to qualitative change,the latter focuses on the process evaluation of cognitive process from feeling to perception to cognition;Second,the scale has strong applicability,easy operation and general scoring rules.Third,the results of the questionnaire are of practical significance,the level of teachers is more stable,and the differences between students are great. |
