Research On The Application Of Group Work Intervention In Spiritual Support For The Poor Elderly In Rural Homes For The Aged

With the rapid development of social economy,the quality of people's life has improved significantly,the needs of material life security have been basically met,and the needs of spiritual life and emotional life have also increased correspondingly.At the same time,we are in an aging society.Population aging is not only a challenge but also an opportunity.Pension security is not only a personal responsibility,but also a social and government responsibility for people's livelihood,It's urgent to solve the problem of providing for the aged.In rural areas,most of the elderly will choose to support themselves at home,while the poor elderly in rural areas are provided by the homes for the elderly or happiness homes set up in local towns.However,most of the support at this stage remains in material support,and there is a lack of spiritual support for the poor elderly.Therefore,this research focuses on the work of social work group to intervene in the spiritual support of the poor elderly in rural elderly care institutions.Through the theory of social ecosystem,this paper builds a general analysis framework and selects site D for practical exploration.By using the methods of scale and semi-structured interview,this paper investigates and evaluates the spiritual support of the extremely poor elderly,and finds that there is room for intervention in five indicators: negative emotion,family care,interpersonal communication,cultural and recreational activities,and community participation.The results show that,firstly,group work can improve the cognition of mental support for the poor elderly;Secondly,it can improve the interpersonal communication ability of the poor elderly,which is of great significance to the construction of the support network system,especially the informal support network;Thirdly,it can promote the single male elderly in special poverty to enrich the entertainment methods in the hospital.The traces of spiritual support can be found from the ancient rites,filial piety,and law,as well as at all times and in all countries.Today,with such advanced technology and economic level,we should let "the elderly have a sense of security" keep pace with the times and give it a new meaning,so that the elderly can enjoy their old age and the fruits of social development,This study hopes to provide experience for the theoretical research and practical problem solving of social work on the spiritual support of the poor elderly in rural homes for the aged.
