The new version standards of senior high school biology curriculum take the core quality of biology as the educational purpose,which aims to enable students to gradually form correct values through discipline learning,and to adapt to the future social development and meet the needs of personal life.The concept of life is the first element,which has great educational value in biology teaching.There are few biology lessons in senior high school and teachers use traditional teaching methods to teach.Thus,many students have no interested in learning.Compared with the traditional teaching mode,5E teaching mode is more interesting.It focuses on students' activities and emphasizes the five teaching steps of "attracting","exploring","explaining","transferring" and "evaluating" to stimulate their curiosity.Students can find problems and try to solve them.In the process of exploration,students' concept of life can be improved.Firstly,this paper was sorted through the literature.The current research situation at home and abroad was reviewed.The application process of 5E teaching mode was standardized through theoretical analysis.Secondly,the current situation of students' life concept was understood through investigation and analysis of learning situation.The researcher carried out teaching design and implementation.In the teaching,traditional teaching mode was adopted in the control class,while 5E teaching mode was adopted in the experimental class.Finally,the conclusion was drawn according to the research results.The results showed that the average score of the post-test experimental class and the control class was 84.889 and 78.963,respectively.The average score of the experimental class was 5.926 higher than the control class and P was less than 0.05,indicating that the experimental class made more progress than the control class.Together,there was a significant difference between the two classes,which further proves that the 5E teaching mode is feasible in the cultivation of life concept;the model not only can stimulate students' interest in learning,learning potential,also can promote the student's academic record and life concept can be improved.
