The key competencies of biology is an indispensable part of the key competencies system, and its cultivation is beneficial to the accomplishment of the scientific spirit,aesthetic taste, physical and mental health, social responsibility and so on in the core culture system. Based on the existing research results, on the basis of clarifying the concept and connotation of the concept of life, this paper analyzes the problems of the cultivation of the concept of life and finds out the solutions and the cultivation approaches, The teaching design of the concept of life in high school biology teaching can be enriched by the setting of teaching goal, the choice of teaching strategy and the teaching evaluation. It can enrich the theoretical system of biology key competencies and provide reference for high school biology teaching.The concept of life concept is interpreted as: First of all, students through the observation and experiment, establish perceptual knowledge on the life phenomenon, the characteristics of life and the law of life activities; Secondly, through abstraction,generalization and other rational thinking, refine the emotional understanding, and form the biological concepts; Finally, students further process multiple concepts and form their concept network, and establish the overall understanding of the nature of life that is, "life concept." Students will be more than the concept of further processing, the formation of their own concept of the network, the establishment of the overall understanding of the nature of life, that is, "concept of life." When solving new biological problems, students can make assumptions, interpretations or decisions based on their own ideas. The concept of life is long-standing and stable. This article holds that the connotation of life concept includes six aspects: "structure and function view", "evolution and adaptation view","steady state and balance view", "material and energy view", "information view" and"inheritance and change view".At present, the main problems in cultivating students' concept of life in high school include the lack of training for teachers, the lack of comprehensive evaluation of students and the imperfect evaluation system. The measures include: do a good job of teacher training, create a good academic atmosphere, improve the school evaluation system, and enrich the students' evaluation methods. The ways to cultivate the concept of life include:the use of activities teaching, design open operation, combined with the reality of life,combined with interdisciplinary knowledge.The teaching design with the concept of life as the teaching goal should focus on the formulation of teaching objectives, the choice of teaching strategies and the teaching evaluation. In the development of the goal, we should clarify the relationship between the three-dimensional goals and the core literacy goals, the relationship between the concept of life and the biology key competencies. In the choice of strategy, teachers should be based on the characteristics of the course,students'situation and other factors,a variety of strategies can be combined use to achieve better cultivating effects. In the teaching evaluation, the teaching evaluation based on the cultivation of the concept of life should be diverse. Teachers can adopt the evaluation method of "cooperative evaluation under the participation of multiple subjects" and "authenticity evaluation in the development of plural class".
