Failure is a learning phenomenon that can be seen everywhere,especially in the teaching of animation courses.However,some teachers often ignore the value of failure,and often adopt the methods of "speaking first and then practicing" and "teacher step by step demonstration and students step by step imitating" to prevent students from experiencing failure.Teachers and students are satisfied with "operation success",leading to some Students only stay in shallow learning.Through my own teaching experience and a large amount of literature research,I found that the main problems reflected in the junior high school information technology course are that students forget what they have learned quickly,learning methods are mechanized,students have no knowledge internalization,and cannot apply what they have learned.These problems It is particularly prominent in the teaching process of animation courses.Therefore,this research explores how to combine productive failure theory with animation courses,and design animation courses teaching activities based on productive failure theory to achieve the goal of improving learners' knowledge retention and transfer ability,and provide some ideas for future researchers.Using the methods of investigation and quasi experimental research,this study takes a township middle school in Lixian County,Longnan City,Gansu Province as the practice base,and takes the eighth grade students as the research objects,Through the investigation of the current situation,summarize the problem attribution.Under the guidance of the productive failure theory,the animation course teaching activity process was designed,and the animation course teaching activities based on the productive failure theory were used for one semester of teaching practice,and the data analysis of the students' test scores and student works was carried out to verify and improve Learners' knowledge retention and transfer ability,and use the activity record sheet to analyze whether animation course teaching activities based on the productive failure theory can improve the problems of students' emphasizing imitation and neglecting thinking in the current learning situation.The main research results of this study are as follows: First,draw experimental conclusions: animation course teaching activities based on the productive failure theory can improve students' knowledge retention and transfer ability.Second,several optimization suggestions are put forward for the teaching activity process of animation courses based on the theory of productive failure:(1)Set appropriate classroom knowledge capacity and ensure sufficient exploration time;(2)Provide appropriate teaching support to help "productive failure" ”Transition to “productive success”;(3)Plan class hours,provide learning materials,and strengthen reflection exercises;(4)Group cooperative learning,optimize grouping methods,and postpone teacher guidance;(5)Enrich the work report format and timely evaluation by teachers.
