With the advancement and development of education reform in China,problem solving ability has become the focus of school and society training.However,the current traditional education mode of information technology pays more attention to students' mastery of knowledge and operational skills,which is deficient in the cultivation of students' ability to use knowledge and skills to analyze and solve practical problems.To change this situation,it is necessary to change teaching concepts and innovate teaching design."Failure" of the concept is put forward for the innovation of teaching design provides a new Angle of view,"failure" effectively by reducing the students in the generated exploration stage of cognitive support,provide students with chance to generate a variety of solutions,so that the students in the stage of knowledge integration easier to focus on the key features of the concept of the target,so that it is truly master the knowledge and skills.It is a meaningful attempt to introduce "productive failure" into junior high school information technology classes and explore its significance in cultivating students' problem-solving ability.First of all,based on the literature on effective failure and problem solving ability translated and read,this study sorts out and summarizes the current research situation at home and abroad,and defines the relevant concepts such as productive failure and problem solving.Secondly,it analyzes the necessity and feasibility of productive failure to promote the development of students' problem solving ability in junior middle school information technology classes,and under the support of effective failure,it designs and implements the teaching process of algorithm and programming content in information technology courses to promote the development of problem solving ability.Finally,after three months of teaching and research,the data analysis of students' work design,test scores and problem solving ability questionnaire shows that compared with traditional teaching methods,using effective and failed teaching can enable students to face the problem more actively;Enable students to generate a variety of problem solutions;It makes it easier for students to connect the knowledge and skills they have learned with practical problems and solve them effectively.Therefore,this study concludes that the use of productive failure teaching can promote the cultivation of junior high school students' problem-solving ability.The use of productive failure innovation in teaching design has not attracted widespread attention in the domestic education sector,and the theory and time of productive failure are just at the beginning stage.Although there are some deficiencies and limitations in this research,the research results of this paper are still of practical significance.This research hopes to provide some enlightenment and reference for the domestic innovation of information technology teaching methods,so that the productive failure of teaching can play a positive role and value in cultivating students' problem-solving ability.
