In traditional teaching,both educators and learners pay attention to the success in learning,ignoring or even avoiding the failure in teaching and learning.Although this phenomenon was good at that time,but from the perspective of the long-term development of students' learning is unfavorable.Kapur proposed the theory of productive failure,which focuses on the failure of students in the learning process.Experiments show that setting some difficulties for students in teaching is beneficial to students' learning.The subject of information technology emerges as a "small subject" for non-enterprise entrance examinations,but in this era of comprehensive informatization and vigorously promoting quality education,it is becoming more and more important,so improving teaching methods is very important.Through reading relevant literature at home and abroad,this paper sorted out the research status of productive failure,sorted out the teaching model of productive failure and the matters needing attention in each part of the model.Through literature and interviews,the author understood the development status of information technology courses,and combined with the teaching process design model of li long,a scholar,designed the information technology teaching process design based on the theory of productive failure.This design is applied to two classes of senior one in Z middle school(experimental class and control class)for four rounds of teaching practice to verify.This paper summarizes the two rounds of relatively typical teaching process design for a detailed elaboration.Finally,the students of the experimental class were interviewed to understand the changes of learners' views on information technology courses after the productive failure theory.The practical ability questionnaires were distributed to the experimental class and the control class,and the experimental records were collected.The results show that the design of information technology teaching process under the productive failure theory can productively guide the information technology curriculum.After four rounds of teaching practice,the students' views on the information technology course in the experimental class are generally improved,their information technology practice abilities have also improved,and the diversity of problem solving has increased.On the basis of previous research,this study expanded the research scope of productive failure theory in information technology course,and expanded the experimental subjects to senior high school students.And designed a set of complete teaching process design mode,hoping to provide some reference and enlightenment for the future information technology teaching.
