| Based on the needs of students’ own development and project-based learning are the key contents of the new round of basic education curriculum reform.It is urgent to promote the reform of chemistry teaching in rural high schools through the reform of learning methods.How to combine project-based learning with the needs of students’ own development and improve the teaching status of rural schools is the core issue of this research.This research focuses on “What is the theoretical basis for the development and implementation of project-based learning cases? How to develop project-based learning cases suitable for rural high schools under the guidance of theories? What is the effect of project-based learning in rural high schools?” these three questions.The connotation of project and project-based learning is defined.By sorting out the research status of project-based learning at home and abroad,the theoretical discussion of project-based learning is carried out,and its constituent elements,characteristics,values,general procedures and evaluations are generalized.Based on this,I choose the third and fourth sections of the third chapter of high school chemistry compulsory course 2 to develop cases under the teaching concept of project-based learning,and in a rural high school in Tongwei County,Dingxi City,Gansu Province,a class in the second grade to carry out action research.In the process of implementation,the comprehensive ability of students is evaluated through teacher evaluation,student group evaluation and student self-evaluation with the help of problem solving ability evaluation scale and team cooperation ability evaluation scale.After the implementation of the case,students’ subject knowledge and learning interest were evaluated and interviewed with self-compiled subject knowledge test paper and interview outline,Then it makes an objective evaluation on the implementation effect of the project-based learning case "Exploring the Secret Vinegar" in the routine classroom of rural high schools.The study shows that the case "Exploring the Secret Vinegar" can be carried out smoothly in rural high schools.The introduction of project-based learning in high school chemistry review class can help students review and apply the knowledge they have learned,cultivate students’ abilities in various aspects,and change students’ attitude and interest in learning.According to the problems in the practice process,we should reflect: because of the advantages of rural students themselves and the unique natural resources in rural areas,it is advantageous to introduce project-based learning in rural high schools;Due to the contradiction between the long time to carry out project-based learning and the time limit of regular class,the miniaturization of project-based learning is a feasible strategy to introduce it into regular class.There is a contradiction between the development of project-based learning and the current teaching situation in rural schools.Schools should provide support for teachers to change the traditional teaching philosophy and teaching methods.Project-based learning has a high requirement on teachers’ ability.Teachers should pay attention to knowledge accumulation,improve their personal knowledge system and improve their professional quality. |
