As one of the three basic abilities of middle school mathematics,mathematical operation ability runs through every link in the mathematics classroom,directly affecting the level of students' math performance and the development of mathematical thinking,and has a pivotal position in the mathematics classroom.However,the author found in teaching that junior middle school mathematics teachers and students have not paid enough attention to mathematics operation ability,and there are also many problems in the training of students' operation ability by teachers.In order to find the factors that affect the mathematical operation ability of junior high school students and give effective teaching strategies for cultivating mathematical operation ability,this article uses literature method,questionnaire survey method,testing method,experimental comparison and other methods to develop the mathematical operation ability of junior high school students in a middle school in Nong'an County.Investigation research and teaching practice.According to the characteristics of the eighth grade students,according to the classification theory of SOLO and the three levels of mathematical operation ability,this paper designs the eighth grade mathematical operation ability test paper and questionnaire,and conducts a questionnaire survey on the mathematical operation ability of the eighth grade students in this school.Through the statistical analysis of questionnaires and test papers,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)There are individual differences in the mathematical operation ability of students;(2)The level of mathematics operation ability of junior high school students is at a lower level;(3)Students are at the lower level of the formula The basic concepts of mathematics in junior high school are not well understood;(4)Some students lack learning interest in the knowledge of mathematics and mathematical operations;(5)The students have not formed good operation habits and have operational inertia.In order to further understand the cause of the problem,this article designed a junior high school mathematics teacher interview outline,selected 15 teachers of the school for interviews,and recorded the interview process in detail.Through in-depth interviews and combined with the statistical results of questionnaire surveys and test papers,we found that the main influencing factors affecting students' arithmetical ability are:(1)lack of interest in learning,leading to low levels of mathematical operation ability;(2)inadequate grasp of basic knowledge,which affects mathematics The improvement of cognitive structure;(3)Lack of good operation habits affects the improvement of mathematical operation ability;(4)The limitation of mathematical thinking hinders the development of mathematical operation ability.Based on the analysis results of the investigation and research and combined with the actual situation of the middle school in Nong'an County,this article proposes the following teaching improvement measures:(1)Questions lead to improve good experience and stimulate learning interest;(2)Pay attention to basic knowledge teaching and improve the accuracy of students' calculations(3)Give full play to the guiding role of teachers and cultivate students' good computing habits;(4)Strengthen the training of variants and broaden the depth of students' thinking.On this basis,in order to verify the feasibility of the proposed teaching measures,this paper selects two parallel classes in the eighth grade for a 60-day comparative study of teaching practice,and conducts a comparative analysis of the students' performance before and after the test.According to the statistical analysis of the teaching practice process and test results,the effectiveness of the proposed teaching measures was confirmed,and some specific learning methods and teaching methods were further optimized.
