In recent years,along with the education reform,Mathematical modeling literacy regarded as one of the six core mathematics literacy in New Curriculum Standard,More and more attention has been paid to the teaching of mathematical modeling,As a basic means of application of mathematics to solve practical problems,mathematical modeling has been widely applied in different fields,but mathematical modeling teaching situation is worrying,The development level of mathematical modeling teaching is uneven in different areas.The previous research focuses on the area of mathematical modeling teaching mathematical modeling teaching principle,mathematical modeling teaching mode,mathematical modeling teaching strategy,etc.For the mathematical modeling of the investigation of the status quo of the teaching is relatively small,mathematical modeling teaching present situation investigation and empirical material are the strong support of further research,mathematical modeling teaching is conducive to further enrich the middle school mathematical modeling teaching theory.The purpose of this thesis is to present situation of mathematical modeling teaching in different regions of Fujian province on the basis of investigation and analysis,find out mathematical modeling teaching level gaps,combined with the main problems of different areas of mathematical modeling teaching,In order to improve the present situation of mathematical modeling teaching in Fujian Province,the corresponding improvement measures are put forward.This study selected two different places of Xiamen city and Guangze county of Fujian province.four schools of teachers and students as the research object,The study respectively of teachers and students has carried on the questionnaire survey from the different dimensions,it has carried the statistical analysis by using SPSS data analysis software,the result of the questionnaire survey data and the teachers in different areas of the further interview investigation,field survey results,Combined with the results of field investigation in schools,this thesis reflects on the differences of mathematical modeling teaching between the two areas from the three respects of schools,teachers and students.By analyzing the survey,there are some problems existing in Guangze county.Like insufficient degree of school’s emphasis on mathematical modeling,the teachers’ mathematical modeling teaching professional knowledge needs to be improve,mathematical modeling teaching and research atmosphere and students’ mathematical modeling knowledge are weak,lack of ability of mathematical modeling.While in Xiamen faced with mathematical modeling teaching have the formal,mathematical modeling teaching class hour is limited,the lack of a system of mathematical modeling teaching form a complete set of teaching materials and other major problems,Therefore,on the basis of mathematical modeling teaching theory put forward the corresponding improvement measures,This thesis aims to provide reference for school in different regions.Then,this thesis discusses the teaching of mathematical modeling in high school classroom,and enlighten the front-line mathematics teachers to use new ideas of teaching strategies related to mathematical modeling.
