Research On The Transformation And Of Traditional Villages Based On Social Structure Theory

Behind the huge economic benefits brought about by the development of urbanization and industrialization is the grim situation of the decline and decline of some traditional villages in our country.In order to save this precious cultural heritage of mankind,since 2012,the state has promulgated a number of traditional village protection policies and measures,but how and where to transform traditional villages are still problems to be solved.Yubei Village is a typical traditional village in the upper reaches of Nanxi River in Zhejiang Province.This article takes it as a case and adopts the theory of social structure as the basis of analysis to study the two major transformations that this village has experienced since its establishment.The purpose is to explore the relationship between the transformation and development of the traditional village and its social structure.This article is divided into six parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the background,significance,purpose,object,content,methods and innovation of this research.The second part is the theoretical basis of the article.First,it briefly sorts out the research results related to this article,including studies on traditional villages,village transformation,village social structure,and Yubei Village;then focuses on related concepts: traditional villages,social structure,The transformation of social structure is defined and the factors affecting the changes in rural social structure are analyzed.Finally,the basic theories of this article are introduced: Marx's theory of social structure and the analysis perspective of "state-society".The third part is the Yubei Village in the traditional period.First,it briefly introduces the history and spatial structure of Yubei Village.Secondly,it analyzes the interior of Yubei Village from the aspects of politics,economy,society and cultural structure according to the classification standards of Marx's social structure theory.Finally,from the perspective of "state-society",the relationship between the village and the outside is discussed.It is believed that Yubei Village at this stage is a "weak country-strong society" structural model.The fourth part is the first transformation of Yubei Village in the collectivization movement.After sorting out the collectivization movement of Yubei Village,it analyzes the changes in the internal political,economic and social structure of the village.From the perspective of "state-society",Yubei Village has become a "strong state-weak society" structural model at this stage.The fifth part is the second transformation of Yubei Village under the background of marketization.It introduces the second transformation of marketization in Yubei Village—the development of rural tourism,and analyzes the changes in the internal political,economic,social and cultural structure of the village during the failure of the transformation.From the perspective of "state-society",a new type of "strong state-weak society" structural model has been formed within the village.The sixth part is the conclusion and discussion.Based on the case study of Yubei Village and the investigations of other traditional villages,the conclusion of this article is reached: the lack of social foundation caused by the imbalance of the social structure of traditional villages is the fundamental reason that restricts their healthy transformation and orderly development.Therefore,starting with the villagers and village culture to reconstruct the social structure of the village is a feasible path for the transformation and development of traditional villages.
