The increase of the number of single-parent families has brought many limitations to the education and studies of their children.Due to the lack of family structure,the children of these single-parent families have not got enough care from their families,have more problems,and are often accompanied by poor learning performance.Moreover,the difficulties faced by the children of single-parent families in poor rural areas are multiple,which makes it easier for the children to fall into learning troubles.In order to respond to the learning needs of single-parent children in rural areas and solve their learning difficulties,this study will take the children from single-parent families in poor rural areas as the research object.The goal is to enhance their learning interest and ability,improve their learning performance,and enable them to obtain higher education,which will obstruct the inter-generational transmission of poverty,and also provide experience and reference for related research.This study will take the children from single-parent families in X poverty villages in Chongqing as the research object,use interview and observation methods to learn the learning performance of these single-parent children,use Ecosystems Theory and Hope Theory as guidance to analyze the reasons for their learning difficulties,and then select a typical research object for intervention.In the intervention stage,the researcher will conduct further interview and observation on the selected intervention objects,measures them with the Learning Hope Scale to clarify the learning problems they encounter,and then implement specific interventions by using the method and technique of individual cases.The specific intervention path is from many ways,such as individual,family,school,community and other systems.The focus points of the intervention are the individual system and family system.And Ecosystem Theory and Hope Theory run through the whole intervention process.The results of this study show the children from single-parent families in poverty Villages of Chongqing encounter many serious difficulties in their studies,and that the factors which affect their studies are multi-dimensional and complex.The method of Ecosystem Theory is helpful to improve the comprehensiveness and objectivity of the analysis process.During the intervention study,the researchers takes the Hope Theory and Ecosystem Theory as the guidance to intervene the object,and finally the individual,family system of the object were greatly changed,Academic performance has also improved to a certain extent.due to the impact of objective conditions,the researchers' intervention in the school and community system is very limited.Research indicates,the improvement of family,school,community and other systems is beneficial to improve the learning difficulties of the children from single-parent families,and the intervention and training of learning hope are beneficial to improve the level of learning hope,especially in the improvement of aim perception and thinking path.The combined guidance of Ecosystem Theory and Hope Theory has a good and positive effect on social work intervention in the improvement of single-parent children's learning difficulties in poor rural areas.
