The reform of the new curriculum standard requires schools to pay attention to the teaching of physical education,and physical education should establish a health first guiding ideology.In this big education environment,junior middle school physical education is undergoing transitional reform,but there are still some areas where the reforms of physical education do not go far enough.In some remote areas and rural areas,because the teaching conditions are relatively simple,the reform of physical education is not enough.It is necessary to investigate the current situation of physical education in junior high schools in these areas.This article takes the current situation of physical education in Hetian No.5 Middle School as the research object.Byusing the methods of literature,questionnaire,observation,statistical analysis and interview,The article study the current situation of physical education in the junior middle school of Hotan City,Xinjiang,and draws the following conclusions:The teachers of Hotan Junior Middle School are too old,and their academic qualifications and professional titles cannot meet the needs of physical education.Many physical education teachers do not have clear teaching goals in the teaching process.The teaching content is affected by the school teaching conditions,teachers’ personal abilities,and the site hardware facilities.Due to the impact of facilities,the teaching content of teachers is relatively simple,and the teaching evaluation system is not comprehensive.The physical education rules and regulations system of Hotan junior middle school are relatively complete,and the school also established a complete teaching institution.However,the school’s funding is mainly allocated by the education department and raised by the school,so there is a severe shortage of sports equipment.The physical education teaching in Hotan Junior High School is affected by many factors,mainly due to insufficient teaching venues,teachers’ constraints in the process of teaching,and student evaluation systems need to be strengthened,and the shortage of teachers,.The physical education has the commonness with other courses,namely that the teacher transforms the complicated teaching activity into the simple and understandable teaching behavior according to certain rules and principles.Only through teachers’ simple and understandable teaching behavior can students learn physical education courses in a deeper level.Middle school students are different from college students in the development of mind and body.They aire slightly immature,coupled with heavy learning tasks,reduced the time to learn physical education curriculum,so the middle school physical education teachers put forward higher requirements.Effective teaching is a practical problem that every PE teacher must think about.With the promotion of quality education,the national physical education classes in middle school are increasng.Although there is an increasing trend in the curriculum,due to the high learning pressure of middle school students,in fact,the time for physical education is still decreasing in many areas.In addition,the physical literacy of middle school students is uneven,and the physical quality is constantly declining,it can be said that the middle school physical education curriculum is facing severe challenges.These undoubtedly increase the difficulty of teaching for middle school PE teachers.Physical education teaching is essentially the same as the teaching of other courses.Teaching activities are the key part of the teaching process and belong to the core of teaching.Teachers play a dominant role in an orderly teaching activity.So how to improve the efficiency of classroom teaching has become a hot topic in the field of education,which is also the most concerned issue of teachers.Effective teaching has been hotly discussed by educators in China and abroad since it was proposed by scholars.This paper takes 13 junior middle schools in hotan city of xinjiang province as an example to investigate the teaching status of PE teachers in middle schools,and adds my own understand.
