On The Cultivation Of College Students’ Confidence In Socialist Culture With Chinese Characteristics In The Era

In the report to the 19 th CPC National Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping clearly pointed out that socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,marking a new journey for China’s modernization drive.Growing up in the new era,college students are the pillars of the country’s progress and the future strength of the country’s cultural power construction.They carry the vision and hope of the country and undertake the great responsibilities entrusted by history.The situation of college students’ cultural confidence and how to cultivate their cultural confidence are directly related to the successor of socialist cultural construction,and indirectly related to the future and destiny of the party and the country.General Secretary Xi Jinping has stressed the importance of cultural confidence in conferences at home and abroad.Cultural confidence is placed in the height of national strategic development and constitutes an indispensable part of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.The cultivation of college students’ cultural confidence in the new era is related to the overall promotion of college students’ cultural quality,the ideological and political reform of school curriculum,the creation of a positive social atmosphere and the development of cultural power.Based on a wide range of research on the theoretical cognition,ideological identity,practical understanding and cultivation of cultural confidence of college students in five universities,this paper focuses on some problems that need to be solved in the process of cultivating cultural confidence of college students.Such as the spread of multicultural trend of thought in the society,the absence of family culture education,the lack of school attention and students themselves lack of self-education consciousness,subject consciousness and so on,have produced negative obstacles that cannot be ignored to the cultivation of college students’ cultural confidence.On the basis of extensive investigation,in view of the current performance and difficult problems of college students’ cultural confidence,focus on building up the all-round have continuous cultural self-confidence cultivating system,from creating a favorable social and cultural environment,strengthening the influence and impact of family education,give play to the role of university cultural main land,improve students’ ability of self education in four aspects,Finally,it will form a concerted educational force,so that college students can truly achieve the organic unity of "knowing,feeling,and acting" with cultural confidence.
