A Study On The Psychological Construction Of Cultural Self-confidence Cultivation Of Contemporary College Students

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping has attached great importance to the issue of cultural self-confidence.He repeatedly stressed: "We say that we should strengthen confidence in the road to socialism with Chinese characteristics,theoretical confidence and institutional self-confidence.In the end,we should strengthen cultural self-confidence.Cultural self-confidence is a more fundamental,deeper,and more enduring force.History and reality have proved that a nation that has abandoned or betrayed its own history and culture is not only impossible to develop,but also likely to stage a historical tragedy." This incisive conclusion not only highlights the special importance of cultural self-confidence on the development path of nation,nation and people,but also further shows the value implication of firm cultural self-confidence.Cultural self-confidence refers to a country,a nation,a political party’s full affirmation of their own cultural values and a firm belief in their own cultural vitality.Cultural self-confidence,as a special self-confidence,is essentially a psychological expression of the behavior subject’s treatment of culture.College students’ cultural self-confidence is based on their clear cognition,fully affirming the value and vitality of China’s outstanding traditional culture,revolutionary culture and advanced socialist culture,and determined to inherit and promote it.Thus full of confidence in the future development of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics shows a positive and healthy psychological state.The purpose of cultivating and strengthening the cultural self-confidence of contemporary college students is to promote their deep feeling of belonging to Chinese culture through the internal and externalization of "cultural man",to help them get out of the fence of cultural anxiety and to unite the common understanding of value.Improve the influence and appeal of Chinese culture in an all-round way,strengthen the road confidence,theoretical self-confidence and system self-confidence foundation.Based on the thinking mode of "putting forward problems,analyzing problems and solving problems",this paper mainly analyzes and discusses from three aspects: the first part,combs the present situation of contemporary college students’ cultural self-confidence;The second part discusses the value connotation of contemporary college students’ cultural self-confidence;In the third part,the author systematically explains the psychological construction of contemporary college students’ cultural self-confidence from four levels: one is to clarify the psychological cognitive object of college students’ cultural self-confidence,which mainly includes the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation;The self-cognition of the revolutionary culture of realizing national liberation and the advanced culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics leading the development of China;The second is to develop the psychological motivation mechanism of college students’ cultural self-confidence,which mainly includes that the main body is the basic motive force of the self-confidence behavior,the motivation is the direct power of the subject to produce the self-confidence behavior,and the interest is the indirect power of the subject’s self-confidence behavior;The third is to strengthen the psychological orientation of college students’ cultural self-confidence,including the inner guidance of ideal and belief,values and world outlook on the subject’s psychology and behavior;Four grasp is the value orientation of cultivating college students’ cultural self-confidence,which mainly includes not forgetting the original-unswervingly adhering to the excellent traditional Chinese culture,absorbing all the outstanding cultural achievements of the outside world by absorbing the foreign-and absorbing the strengths of the foreign-all the outstanding cultural achievements of the foreign countries.Focus on the future-grasp the prospect of China’s cultural development to create a brilliant Chinese culture.Theory and practice show that cultural self-confidence is the source of power,spiritual pillar and value support for building socialism with Chinese characteristics,and Chinese Dream,who realizes the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,is bound to demand the vitality of his own culture.A firm belief in creativity and influence;In order to realize the youth dream of Chinese Dream,contemporary college students must insist on self-confidence and adherence to their own cultural characteristics,enhance their own cultural psychology self-identity and cultural sense of belonging beyond time and space.
