After the core literacy was first put forward in the 21 st century,“ core competencies and values for Chinese students' development” was released in 2016.Social responsibility was listed as the first item of “responsibility”,The Party and the State attached great importance to the cultivation of social responsibility,The 2017 edition of the General High School Biology Curriculum Standard regarded social responsibility as one of the biological core literacy.Firstly,through reading,analyzing and comparing a large number of literature,and the concept of social responsibility and core literacy was defined.Combining the connotation of social responsibility in biology curriculum standard,the investigation and research on paying attention to hot spots and rational judgment,scientific practice and solving problems,protecting environment and harmonious development,caring for life and healthy life were carried out.The aim was to improve teachers' cognition of the content and function of social responsibility,and to provide help and reference for first-line biology teachers to cultivate students' social responsibility effectively.Secondly,884 students from 6 high schools in Dezhou,Jinan and Binzhou and more than 20 senior high school biology teachers were investigated by questionnaire.It was found that the development level of the four dimensions of students' social responsibility were different,most students stayed at the level of responsibility cognition,and the action and execution of responsibility were not strong,students had less opportunities to practice and a single channel of social responsibility.On the whole,teachers had a high degree of concern and recognition of social responsibility in the field of biology,however,the implementation of social responsibility lacked initiative,and it was generally believed that strengthening social responsibility education was a certain challenge.Thirdly,in this paper,the author put forward four teaching strategies: digging deeper into teaching material,introducing social hot spots,strengthening life-oriented teaching and teaching the history of biological science,and carrying out teaching design according to the corresponding teaching strategies.In extra curricular activities,students' social responsibility was promoted through research-based learning,scientific and technological associations and social practice.In order to effectively implement social responsibility in school education,local education administration could incorporate social responsibility into the comprehensive evaluation system;the school strengthened the teacher training,enhanced the teacher to the social responsibility education initiative;teachers actively developed curriculum resources.Finally,this study was summarized and reflected,which provided reference for future work and study.
